Assad take advantage of this stupidly low strike zone already.
-
Instead of bases loaded 1 out, a pop out and 2 blown ball 4 to Morel
-
Another walk robbed
-
What should have been a walk becomes a pop out
-
A bit of a miracle Atlanta has only scored 2 so far
-
He didn't throw one of those pitches within 6 inches of the zone
-
Assad getting behind everyone and throwing a lot of non competitive pitches
-
Down to a 3 run lead
-
And he almost killed Acuna
-
Way to make Elder work that inning, that was what, 7 pitches?
-
Deep counts on every damn hitter.
-
Assad might not even get through 3 at this rate. 41 pitches for 5 outs.
-
Well this is off to a considerably better start
-
Yeah, they're not scoring on Fried. Not one of the hitters is looking like they're seeing these pitches at all.
-
Fried has them completely baffled so far. Going to be lucky to put up a couple at this rate.
-
Jesus, is there anyone not going to hit 25+ bombs on the Braves?
-
This strike zone is huge in every direction
-
If that's the strike zone today, the hitters have no chance against Fried.
-
See psd people, you might have thought you argued about petty stuff, but when it comes it comes to hot takes and arguing meaningless minutiae, NSBB is top tier.
-
1-2 is what I expect, 2-1 would be great, 3-0 would overload the hype train
-
The second he started supporting BLM the fans turned on him. Also, he's completely dominating today. 5IP 1H 0ER 1BB 7K on only 58 pitches
-
I'm torn. It would be funny if he was amazing as soon as he left St. Louis, but I also don't want to see Baltimore be rewarded for being a bunch of cheap asses at the trade deadline.
-
A fun look at what some of the starters have done in their first start, or two, since being traded Scherzer went 6IP 7H 3ER 2BB 9K against the WSox. Lorenzen went 8IP 6 2ER 1BB 5K against the Marlins Giolito in 2 games has gone 9IP 14H 12ER 4 BB 7K in starts vs. Atlanta and Toronto Jack Flaherty is currently pitching and so far 3IP 1H 0ER 1B 5K vs Toronto.

You hit submit but it still shows the screen where you were typing your message right? I've had this happen a few times recently, where instead of taking me to my newly posted message it just stays on the same screen.

Miami down 2 after 7 to the Phillies.
