  1. He was making the right throw there. He had Moore 1 on 1 going towards the back of the end zone. If Evans gives him any kind of actual block he gets that throw off.
  2. Well that was a terrible attempt at a block by Evans.
  3. I absolutely hate the play calling today
  4. Nice play call on 3rd and 7
  5. Well that was PI
  6. A fumble and a penalty, what a horsefeathers show so far today.
  7. Ok, can we please give Fields more than 1.5 seconds to get rid of the ball on this drive. Thanks.
  8. This Oline has been shockingly bad
  9. If they're going to keep sending the house, run all day.
  10. So they're just determined to get Fields killed today with blind side hits
  11. Please for the love of god get a person who can hike the ball
  12. I'm not even sure "Generational" talent Caleb Williams is even the best QB in this draft anymore.
  13. He definitely has a lot of Mahomes to his game, but is Mahomes even Mahomes without Andy Reid?
  14. Woodruff has 2 years left under control, 1 of which he can't pitch. I think there's a significant chance the Brewers just don't offer him arbitration in 2024 and he becomes a FA. If he's willing to take like 5M to rehab in 2024 and like 15M on, what is effectively a 1 year deal in 2025, I think I'd be interested.
  15. So why are we wanting to take a 3.5 fWAR LFer and move him to 1B where he becomes like a 1.5 to 2 fWAR 1B?
  16. Remember when Harper was basically begging to play in Chicago and the Cubs more or less said no thanks? Good times.
  17. Rumors were that Alonso was looking for a stupidly long contract, like 10 years, which is just absurd.
  18. I'm not sad at all. The owner completely penny pinched in FA when they had virtually no payroll. Then at the deadline they acquired a reclamation project reliever and a starter who was last good years ago. I can't stand the teams who are on the verge of a World Series and do absolutely nothing but sit on their hands. Maybe next year go out and make some moves instead of wasting a year of cheap elite talent.
  19. My hot take. If the Cubs intend on leaving Soto in the OF, then I think I'd rather the money be used elsewhere. If they're willing to put him at 1B/DH and fill in at LF where need be, then I'm on board. It just doesn't make sense to acquire Soto just to ship out Happ or devalue Happ by moving him just to fit in Soto.
  20. At the start of the game the Bears had allowed 18 sacks, Washington had allowed a league high 24. It's a terrible OL.
  21. It really is depressing
  22. If we see the Fields of week 4 and 5, I think they win. Of course it's entirely possible that Getsy and company inexplicably change the playing calling style once again and it's yet another unmitigated disaster, so who knows.
  23. Unfortunately I can't think of a scenario where MHJ and Fashanu are obtainable. If the Bears are bad enough to have 2 top 5 picks, 1 is definitely being used on a QB. I guess it's very slightly possible that Houston falls on their face and that would give Arizona 2 very high picks, but Stroud seems solid enough to keep Houston from completely bottoming out. If the Bears could add MHJ and Fashanu, they could literally spend the rest of the draft and the entirely of FA on the defense.
  24. Aikman blaming it on the GB line, not love. Funny stuff.
  25. GB is 1-4 right now if not for the Carr injury.
