    Completely talking out my ass here, but I wouldn't be shocked if he took it personally that the Cubs seem to be very interested in bringing back Bellinger while they've been pretty clear about not being interested in extending him.

    It sure sounds like that Chris Jones extension with KC isn't happening.

    Well, they basically have to take 2 of 3 if they realistically want to keep the division in play. For wild card purposes, they need to go no worse than 1-2 if they want to keep themselves in good position.

    I think there's some hope that we're seeing an improved Seiya given the big change in his approach.

    Seiya up to a .784 OPS, he really might make .800 which is nuts considering his struggles.

    I might be wrong, but isn't it unusual for the newly drafted players to go to the AFL? I'd really like Shaw to get at least 50 PAs at AA this year with an eye on quick promotion if he tears AA up to start next year.

    I think 2 of the 3 passes were catchable balls, but they wouldn't have really mattered anyway
