The Golden Thunder is definitely in since he was a member last year (I just wasn't able to match the league entry with the NSBB member since he hadn't registered here yet last year). So in the event of vacancies texascub is #1 and CubbieBum #2 on the waiting list.

The explanation from the Chiefs' web site is that the game was called due to rain. It was an official game, and apparently the practice of suspending the game and completing it the next day didn't apply in this case because it was the end of the first half of the season. Since the second half starts from scratch it wouldn't make sense to carry the game over until the next time the two teams play. -
They should make a movie about his story. Call it The Rookie 2. :D

Interesing that both the final Hall of Fame game and the final college all-star football game (where a college all-star team played the NFL champions at Soldier Field) had their last games cancelled because of rain.

Hendry knows when to hold 'em. Hopefully he'll learn to walk away or when to run. Does he count his money when he's sitting at the table? There will be time enough for counting when the dealing's done. Just put it on the Peterman account. Or on Norm Peterson's bar tab.
