Well I don't need SP's. I kept 7 and my 8th will be Wade Davis who is technically a minor leaguer right now. Offensively Jeter fits my needs much better than anyone else who was available. I'm not too happy about it as I don't like Jeter and think he bound to break down any year now and start having some injuries.

So who are you taking at #10 Levin? Depends on if he is drafted or not. Ok, youre up, lets see this Jeter was the pick. Gives me a strong 2B, SS combo in Cabrera and Jeter. Getting production from those positions will be nice because normally my teams are weak there.

Well we had an expansion draft last year where points didn't matter. That allowed some teams to have way better players than if they had to keep only a certain amount of points. I know in the expansion draft A-Rod went first followed by my pick of Pujols.

Anything below a 4.00 ERA is great, a 4.00-4.25 ERA is what I expect, 4.25-4.50 a mild disappointment, 4.50+ a big disappointment.

Tennessee is living off their preseason ranking. I'm not complaining because it makes Purdue look better but I would say they are in truth a 5 or 6 seed. They'll end up with a 3 or 4 though.

You guys realize your own coach said in the post game Purdue played good defense WITHOUT fouling. Can you explain the difference in foul shots based on shot types then? When's the last time a coach after the game says "those refs blew, Chris Kramer fouls on every possession and is probably a virgin?" He has no reason to say they did it without fouling. I have never heard a coach add on the fouling part. Most coaches will credit the opposing defense but not go past saying they played well. Many coaches have also questioned the reffing of games (without calling them out), especially in games they get a technical. I do like your dramatization though. You have a gift with taking things way over the top and making up pointless things to distract everyone from the real topic. Bravo I take my hat off to you :hello:

Syracuse missed the tournament once with 10 Big East wins and I believe Penn State or someone else missed the tourney last year with 10 Big Ten wins. Syracuse doesn't ever count when they're on the bubble because they play 14 D2 teams in non-conference every year. I really think they'll get in at 11-7. Whether they beat Minny and Michigan or lose one of those and beat UW I don't think matters. Also, possibly one of the most homer reffed games I've ever seen today. Absolutely awful. The scout board had a breakdown on shot types, Purdue shot 6 more layup/dunks and went to the line something like 20 more times. Awful. You guys realize your own coach said in the post game Purdue played good defense WITHOUT fouling.

Nope it is a sign of things to come. 3-16 will be a regular night for him. Ignore everything else he has ever done and focus on that game. You mean the shooting under 40% this season? Sure he was great but he has had injuries and I'm afraid he isn't capable of playing at the level he did in previous seasons. Time will tell. I hope he can play at previous levels but it doesn't look like it.

Martin goes 3 for 16 in his Rockets debut with a (-10) +/- and the Rockets lose by 10 at home against Indiana. Good God I hope this isn't a sign to come. I really hope his anemic shooting this season stops and the Rockets actually start winning some games. Oh and to top it off McGrady kills it in his Knicks debut. I really think we could have brought him back next season at discounted price and had a real contender (and a playoff team this year) with Brooks and Landry having emerged and Yao back.

I'd be very worried if I were a Rockets fan. I doubt Yao is ever as good as he was. Giants generally don't so very well with injuries to their feet and legs. I worried he will re-injure it not whether or not he will be the same player when he gets back. He was pretty widely considered the slowest and least athletic player in the league already so he won't be losing anything there. All he does is use his weight to get position in the paint and then turn and do hooks or takes jump shots that he is very good at. Having no athletic ability won't change any of that.
