  1. you've got peppers on the wrong side. Peppers, and Lovie/Angelo were asked that question at the press conference today and it did not get answered. Peppers says he feels comfortable at both sides. I expect him to play both sides, but ultimately he will line up on the right side, imo.
  2. Antrel is rolling with the Giants.
  3. Non story, wilson. Actually that is a story because it is in the newspaper redflash. And Kane is an immature goof for wearing his stupid silver medal in a posh club. Fine, it's a non-story story. As dex mention, he's just a kid having fun. Loosen up, please.
  4. Brown is moving to the left side, with Peppers playing on the right side.
  5. Non story, wilson.
  6. First: Fourth rd pick for Olsen? What's next, Lance Briggs for a conditional 7th rd pick? Second: How can you call a player who has statistically improved each year in the league (39-391-2 to 6-612-8) a failed first round pick? I know stats don't show it all, but they dont lie either They are flaws in his game, but he still is improving as a player. So no, I don't consider Olsen a "failed first round" pick, and thus shouldn't be considered as on.
  7. and he'll be paid like it. he's also fairly young in terms of wear and tear. you, of all people, should know that. Taylor has averaging 114 carries per season in his 9 year career. In perspective, Adrian Peterson is averaging 228 carries per season, during his 4 year career So yeah, I do think Taylor has a good 3 productive years left.
  8. If they sign Manumaleuna, I hope they can get a 2nd rounder for Olsen. And I hope you're right on Taylor. If the Bears sign this Manumaleuna guy, and trade Olsen to NE, I wonder if the Bears would take said NE pick and flip it over to Denver for Marshall? Denver isn't getting a 1st for him, and some are speculating that they would be thrill to get a 2nd rd pick.
  9. Good riddance. The Giants can take him for that price. I posted that article, because I don't Peppers to Washington is even close to being done. Personally t wouldn't surprise me if the Bears, trying to beat tampering charges, told Peppers' agent to spread these rumors.
  10. http://www.nesn.com/2010/03/report-new-york-giants-could-offer-julius-peppers-100-million.html Personally, I think this is Peppers' agent trying to engage several teams into a bidding war.
  11. http://broncotalk.net/2010/03/14182/broncos-buzz/chicago-bears-want-brandon-marshall/ It speculates that the Broncos might consider a player of equal value plus 3rd rounder (who on the Bears is of "equal value" to Marshall, that quote had me :-k ) or take a 1st rd pick in 2011 for him. Personally the only way this could work is if the Bears take Olsen move him to NE for their 47th pick (I think that is were it's at) and then flip that pick plus a 2nd rd pick in 2011 might be enough to trade for Marshall.
  12. Did someone bound and gagged Dan Snyder or something?
  13. There is a reason why Milton is going on his 9th team in his professional career. So this type of news isn't surprising for someone like Bradley who won't take responsible for his own actions.
  14. Pretty much the consensus of all the Hawks message boards I visit.
  15. Better be the first one, plus a 5th or something. NE doesn't have a fifth, they do have a 4th and a 6th.
  16. I dont remember Richmond ever playing for the Hawks. He played for the Hawks between 2005-06 to 2007-08. I think this trade means that Crawford is on the way out in some kind of trade and Richmond...........idk.
  17. Agreed. I thought Canada's effort all tournament was very inconsistant, and not worthy of the talent on their team. They won because of their superior talent and Luongo being the 2nd best goalie of the tournament. Suffice to say, Americans will be more proud of their silver then Canadians will be of their gold. And hopefully by 2014 US can make up that gap in talent even more.
  18. The Giants got 2nd/5th for Shockey, and the Browns got a 2nd/5th for Winslow. If the Giants and Browns get a 2nd/5th for what people considered underachieving TEs at the time of the trade, then I image the Bears could realistically ask for a minimum of a 2nd rd pick. With that said, NE has three 2nd rd picks and some mocks have them at least exploring the idea of drafting a TE. I would gladly take the 47th or 53th pick off the Patriots hands for Olsen.
  19. Look at it this way, the Hawks stay healthy, played pretty well and now has a couple of deals to rest up. That's is simply fantastic news. Now, I kinda of expect Toews/Seabrook/Keith to get lightly booed at the first home game, but they won't last long.
  20. Damn, I hate it when Canada takes both Hockey gold. And I was hoping the Hawks had one more Canada trip for the Hawks and watching them blast the Canadian, but alas the Hawks only player three more Canadian teams and they are at home.
  21. Does TO count? And the Packers were just 9-7 when Reggie White signed with them in 1992. That's close. How about Jevan Kearse, Tennessee to Philly? (Sorry dew)
  22. Not suprise. Auburn needed a special waiver just to get him enroll last year. They will say it's about the competition at QB, but this is purely based on his grades slipping.
  23. If you ask Blazers fans they seem to have the patent on blowing leads.
  24. who are you dueling, now? :-$ And :old_givebeer:
  25. I got family in Canada and I hold a duel citizenship with the country, but suffice the say I won't be hearing from the Cauncks side of my family anytime soon. USA, USA, USA, eh!!!
