  1. John Clayton seems to think the Titans are interested in reacquiring Haynesworth, but I am not sure if Tennessee really want that contract tho. I'd actually be very interested in re-acquiring Albert. The draft pick to get him likely wouldn't be high at all and the Redskins would be paying the entire guaranteed portion of his salary (I believe). He's a perfect fit for the Titans' defensive scheme and might be re-energized to be back in a system he knows he can be successful in. I'm trying to think of the last major free agent the Skins picked up (during Snyder's era) that's work out for them. Portis was a trade. How about Darrell Green? Or one of the tackles (Jansen or Samuels)? Jansen, Samuels and Green were all drafted by the Skins.
  2. Ummm....Derrick what was that guarantee/promise you made?

  4. "Rubbing their balls" and St. Louis in the same sentence? Write your own joke plz. As for Carpenter's transformation into a douche....is now complete. It can't be a baseball season with somebody in the St. Louis org accusing another team of "cheating."
  5. Do the Bears have somebody that can get people out? I hear Cutler's got an arm. But he also has the Ricky "Wild Thing" Vaughn thing going for him....so.....
  6. Brett Favre became a first time grandfather, when his oldest, Brittany, gave birth to a son. So....write your age appropiate jokes here, guys.

  8. This is the only thing I read from your post OMC. God editing is fun.
  9. Suffice to say the thread has been quite the entertainment, moreso then the game. Since I am not expecting much from the Cubs this year, I can say that there will be a few losses that don't bother me, including today's. Pretty much too much chatter for essentially a meaningless game.
  10. If there is one thing I want the Cubs to do before the year is out is that they need to stop referring Zambrano as an ace. Cause Z is no ace.
  11. No offense to the young man, but I hope he goes away like Jordan Schafer did last yr.
  12. For a friggin' 5th rd pick no less.
  13. That was my thought as soon as I found out that Doug Drabek had an almost major league ready kid. Just wait until how old you feel when Kyle Drabek pitches to Scott Van Slyke (of the Dodgers). And with Sid Bream's son already in college (Tyler), time is really flying.
  14. but it's the Sawkx and the Yankees!!!!! so exceptions must be made. I refused to watch one moment of any Sawks/Yankee game. For me, Opening Day is Monday.
  15. The Cards have the best 1-2 punch, pitching wise. The Cards and Brewers have the best 1-2 run producers (depending on which tandem you like better). The Cubs, IMO, have a better collection of talent 1-25 then either St. Louis and Milwaukee, and therefore theoritically they should be better then both the Cards and the Brewers. But with said talent, the Cubs also have more questions then either St. Louis or Milwaukee. So I could see any of Milwaukee/Chicago/St. Louis winning the division. Astros suck, no question. Pirates are rebuilding......again. And the Reds are truly the wild card of the division. Just enough talent to be thorn in Mil/ChC/St. Louis sides but not enough to win the division. But of course this is a team lead by Dusty Baker and he could lead teams to the division championships, or lead the league in pitcher abuse points. I simply don't tust Baker with Volzquez/Cuerto and Chapman.
  16. As great as Mark Buehrle performance, but looking at KW 20k game .v. Mark Buehrle "perfect game" and everything I see suggest Wood's performance is by far the more impressive game. So I definately took KW on Buehrle without blinking an eye.
  17. I can't wait to see Donovan's response to possibly being dealt to Oakland, a destination he clearly does not hold in high regard. I actually think the Raiders can be pretty good with McNabb. They have nice talent at RB and WR with a solid enough offensive line. Coupled with a strong defense, McNabb could push them at least close to .500, if not better. Again, McNabb has said he does not want to go to Oakland. I know. I'm just saying I think they'd be pretty good if they acquired him. Agreed.

  20. Wait till next.............aw hell you know the drill.
  21. Oh good, losing to another inferior team. Oh well.
  22. I said it before, this team hasn't been the same since the meltdown against Minnesota in January.
  23. I can't wait to hear Milton Bradley's excuse for being run out of Seattle after the 2010 season.
  24. Sounds like a potential Brown for Sims really is more wishful thinking then anything right now. Otherwise it sounds like a perfect trade for both teams.
