Not me. If we had LMA, then I doubt the Bulls land Derrick Rose. And I take Rose over LMA every day. That's pretty dumb. Sure I would rather have Rose than LMA but Rose wasn't part of the deal. You traded LMA, who was picked No. 2, for Tyrus Thomas, who was picked No. 4, and some foreign guy who never made to my knowledge. That was the trade. If you have LMA you would be a lot better and while you likely wouldn't have Rose you would have some other draft pick in his place in addition to LMA. That could be Beasley, Love, Mayo, Westbrook, Lopez, Gordon or some other player that is pretty good. I would take LMA + one of the guys mentioned over what you ended with which is Rose and a couple years of Tyrus sucking. And you are under the impression that if the Bulls decided to keep LMA, then would have drafted one of the said players you mention. Considering Paxson's draft history, he would have passed on everybody on the list for a James Johnson type pick. The only reason why he didn't screw up the Rose pick, is because you couldn't screw it up. You had marketable young talent from the city, there ws no way the Bulls would not had pick Beasley, unless Michael was a legit 6'10. There is no guarantee even with LMA the Bulls would have acquire another young player. And quite frankly, crying about a solid, but unspectular player like LMA (who has already reached his peak as a player) is pretty childish. Rose makes players better, LMA doesn't.

Then VDN needs to pull a Phil Jackson and criticize the refs publically. IMO, that's the only way you are going to get the refs to give Rose some calls. Del Negro will get fined and they'll swallow the whistle even more. I would love to hear with VDN or John Paxson say something along the lines of "maybe that referee was right about league wanting certain teams to win, so they control the refs." I know it won't happen, but watching Stern have to answer more questions about his questionable referees would be such a delight.

I kind of expect the Predators not knowing what hits them on Sunday. I think the Predator will see how outclass, talent wise, they truly are in this series. I expect that Hawks will win the series and am not debating that they are a more talented team. I think you may be underselling Nashville some though. They are not in a hockey media bed so you don't hear a lot about some of their players, but that does not mean that they lucked into a 100 point season. Nashville's defense core is very comparable to the best in the league, which helps offset the fact they are lacking in strong scoring forwards. I'm not underestimating Nashville, that is how much confident in the Hawks ability.

Exactly. The Cubs don't need a closer, especially if Marmol continues to pitch well, they need another quality arm for mid-relief/set up duties (if Lou continues to refuse to use Marshall in that role) moreso then a closer.

Exactly. This predator team is going to get outskated and outclass for the rest of the playoffs. I will go ahead and say it...The Preds got the only win they are going to get tonight. The Hawks will win the next 4 and this loss will be forgotten.

I agree. I almsot expect to see the Heat acquire someone like Amare Stoudemire very quickly after the season. I think the Bulls will and Bosh via S-N-T.

I would love to see that happen if for nothing else to see the epic meltdown by Knicks fans and the media who gave the Bulls no shot at landing LBJ. Not to mention it would effectively kill pro sports in Cleveland........

Agreed. The Astros do not have a good enough pitching rotation to keep the Cards and Cubs to a combine 2 runs in 16 innings. So yeah, I do think the Cubs will win, but this game is clearly annoying.
