  1. Even tho rotoworld eluded to it, I have not seen any articles concerning the trade that includes a draft pick going to Carolina. Which leads to me believe this was a straight up trade.
  2. Ummm....Blackhawks? Uh...........Penquins............Hmmmmm....Capitals? Wings are good, but don't make it sound like they are unbeatable, cause Detroit can be beaten.
  3. Simple. Offer him food for every touchdown pass he throws. Or move him to right tackle. half-joking.
  4. The Cubs lost to a fat ass sumbitch that should have been out of the majors 5 years ago. Way to go, Cubs.
  5. How long till VDN is fired? I would assume Paxson will be hands on when it comes to "escorting" VDN out of the UC when they get back to Chicago.
  6. agreed. not that i wouldnt take him on my team. Jordan did the same thing. He was actually way worse. And Mike was pretty darn likeable. Jordan won six titles and never danced and preened like a high school kid lighting up some scrub team. James acts like an ass. Jordan was the BIGGEST trash talker of all time. He stuck his tongue in in spite every time he dunked. Yeah he never danced, but all in all Jordan ran his mouth maybe more than anyone. Jordan did that to the Cavs for years, and not LeBron does it back. Now we know what it is like. Bird and Miller, IMO were bigger trash talkers then Jordan. Hell, you could even put Gary Payton ahead of Jordan, but MJ is still top 5 trash talkers. With that said, Jordan never did anything as childish as what LBJ does, especially to ballboys.
  7. The Bulls win a championship with that team, but there aint enough $. Move Hinrich (which, IMO, is very likely) and/or Deng (I'm not counting on that to happen, tho) very quickly in the offseason, and the Bulls can sign both.
  8. Something leads you to believe he can be effective in earlier innings? No it just means either A: it's a blow out game or B: It would give the Cubs a few extra innings to make up for the damage Grabow causes.
  9. I will preface this by saying I want the Bulls to win. With that said, I would not be disappointed in they lose tonight, simply because I do not want to LBJ and Cleveland to eliminate the Bulls in Chicago and LBJ doing his stupid ass dance.
  10. Can we please banned Grabow from pitching past the 6th inning? It has become apparent he cannot pitch in the late innings
  11. Leaf and it ain't close. Not only did his sucked as a QB, but he was a major prick off the field. Jamarcus is just lazy and don't care, Leaf will he sucked as a player and as a person.
  12. I think the Bears passed on Faneca, because of what happen with Orlando Pace. I know it's apples to oranges, but I read it somewhere as that is the reason.
  13. Faneca signed a 1 yr 2.5 mill deal with Arizona. No surpise, considering all the Pittsburgh ties Arizona has.
  14. Jamar Williams will be 26 in June. Chris Harris will be 28 in August. Let's not pretend that the Bears are trading a good young player at a physically demanding position for a 30 something year old S. IMO, Chris Harris, at 28, still has alot of good football left in him, and we shore up a need by trading from an area of luxury. Good deal, imo. Now if rotoworld is correct in that the Panthers could still acquire a pick from the Bears in this deal, then this deal becomes less favorable, imo. Harris for Williams straight up is fair for both teams, no need to add draft picks.
  15. The only holdup to the deal is that Harris and the Bears are reworking his contract.
  16. Depends on the cost, I like having Chris Harris back. If it happens. And it sounds like either a LBer like Nick Roach and/or possibly a safety will be heading to Carolina. NM....UMFan beat me to it. If this does happen, I suspect this takes us out of the possible bidding for the St. Louis safety Otogwe or however you spell his name.
  17. This series could go either, and while my prediction will lean heavily on homerism, I also believe they are good enough to win. I say Hawks in 6. I thiink Niemi is going to surprise alot of people in the Canuck series.
  18. Best announcer: Vin Scully Worst announcer: Hawk Harrelson and Milo Hamilton. Announcer I will mute 150% of the time: Joe Morgan. At least Hawk can be entertaining when he is sad or mad, Joe Morgan is neither entertaining, or fascinating to listen to. Everybody else is in the bleh to eh, ok catergory for me.
  19. I'm definitely concerned, but I think we have to remember that the Hawks team we just saw for the last six games is not the team we are going to see on Friday night. Completely different styles, and they will (hopefully) be flying high. The only thing is everything needs to make sure they get back on defense because the Sedins will eat Niemi alive if given the chance. Same here. For the most part Nashville had to play over their heads to keep up with the Hawks, and to give them credit they did, but the Hawks did underachieved abit in the first rd series. Now that they get to face a real solid team, I think we will see the REAL Hawks team and IMO they will performed to their abilities. If they do, Vancouver has no shot.
  20. Has anybody seen Tim Toone, Mr. Irrelevent 2010? Good lord, he isn't what I expected. Schwartz of the Lions called Toone a "white guy with dreadlocks, who looks like Jeff Spicoli."
  21. One queston for Vancouver: Have you gotten your tee times reserved, yet?
  22. The kid is a good young player, going back to when he played in the LLWS. He isn't on some magic pixie dust ride, he is legitimately talented enough to be this good.
  23. is he trying out at qb, though? That's what I've heard. I read a quote from Angelo saying he's going to compete with Hanie and LeFevour. now that would be dumb Well, Angelo does moonlight as a certain northside manager so..........
  24. I don't see Nashville keeping up their scoring pace without luck.
