Yeah, I heard Jamal Mashburn throw out this same, but highly unlikely, scenerio. His reasoning as to why it made sense was simply mindboggling stupid. The Lakers would need a S-N-T to make it happen, and if Gilbert and Cleveland knows LBJ is leaving they will not give in and work on a S-N-T to help LBJ. In other words, if LBJ leaves, Cleveland is more likely to be interested in the capspace then overrated and overpaid players (this includes players on the Bulls, and other teams interested in S-N-T ideas with Cleveland). I think Cleveland would be more interested in Bosh as a FA, if Lebron left, over Bynum via trade. Yeah, but unlike the Knicks of yesteryear, that roster would be worth the highest payroll in the league. I have never had a problem with the Bulls having to pay the luxury tax, as long as the roster was worth the hassle and that roster is definately worth it.
