  1. It's obviously way early, but I don't know why we wouldn't expect him to keep having success (though obviously not at this level). His early season numbers count the same as those he will have in the last 2 months, and he's already banked some really awesome performances
  2. He can and he has in AAA
  3. Hendricks isn't a 10 and 5 guy yet? Ship him out asap. I'm all for being romantic about guys as a tiebreaker, but Hendricks is quite obviously the worst starting pitcher we have used this year. I'm not pining for Dan Straily or Julio Teheran, but any/all of Wicks, Wesneski, Brown and Horton seem like clearly better options for this team, even considering you would likely have more than a few growing pains with Horton if he were to come up. But if Cade Horton is your 8th starter, that's a good thing. I also believe we have the prospect depth to make a move for a starter if we need one in July. Alcantara and Triantos in particular are a couple guys I see somewhat squeezed out of future roster spots but who should have value on the trade market
  4. I am looking forward to that stretch against weaker pitching as the weather warms up
  5. I'm guessing Nico's leg fell off
  6. I dont think he's worth pursuing. Just not producing and we've got too many of those bats in the lineup as is to spend real prospect capital hoping to have him recapture his power stroke
  7. It is wildly impressive, but its dimmed a bit by being able to buy the best team in the world. Don't get me wrong, I know Chelsea and ManU and others have still spent insane amounts of money too, they still have to buy the right players, and they still have to win the games, but its not like they developed this roster
  8. Zaidman is the worst... Taillon has thrown a lot of uncompetitive balls early
  9. The scoreboard doesn't lie, but his overall performance wasn't awful. Lots of soft hits, but of course some truly terrible pitches too, especially the Triolo dong
  10. Kyle is a mop-up guy at the point... but generally speaking, he's also the most frequent reason we have needed a mop-up guy
  11. He's just saying he currently places more value (and thinks the org does too) on the in-game power Valdez is showing in rookie ball than on the Ks.
  12. man, I just don't know enough about too many of these guys... it gets awfully hard for me around the 10-12 slots...
  13. they've got a collective Ted Lilly look in their eye
  14. Absolutely not. Bregman is a FA after this year, right? Morel is at least an equal bat right now.
  15. Robert would be awesome, but I doubt they would want to trade him to us for a reasonable package. They got any useful bullpen arms?
  16. Chadwick is Aruban, so at least it seems legit that he wouldn't have been aware
  17. Kyle bounced back and the offense did just enough to win the series against the Pirates. Now they face... Atlanta. At least they have Shota on the mound. Let's see if the offense can wake up and take another series.
  18. Craig looking at his pitching options:
