    Kyle bounced back and the offense did just enough to win the series against the Pirates. Now they face... Atlanta. At least they have Shota on the mound. Let's see if the offense can wake up and take another series.

    They need to find a way to turn cap space into real players, but anecdotally it doesn't seem like there are that many actually good players who hit Free Agency, and most of those guys want to play on teams that are already contenders, not hoping to be contenders. Their best sell right now is that Bedard made Philipp Kurashev look like a decent winger... their next best sell is overpaying people, which is how you end up with bad contracts
