  1. Well, imagine you were a player, wouldn't you do the most you can and tag up if you had a chance. No matter how much you're losing by or winning by.. Why not pad your stats at this team's expense? I would. The Reds can smell 4th place right now.
  2. Stop, it hurts, it hurts! I'm literally laughing so hard I'm crying. Why us? why? Why do the baseball gods hate us so?
  3. These are the fans that the White Sox fans target as "typical Cub fans".
  4. It was a tough call on who else to put in there. It could've been Hendry I guess. It definitely would have been LaTroy if he was still around. Perez, Macias and Hollandsworthless are definitely the "Dusty Boys" though. Yes hilarious Derwood. The way Spacy's body is contorted, and Baker has that "I just started Macias in center, and batted Neifi 2nd" smirk on his face is blendid together is truly priceless. It's actually better now with Hendry, as it looks like he and Dusty are having a good laugh at all our expense. The body language on Dusty is priceless too. He has a "what, little innocent me?" thing going on.
  5. Oh god, that shouldn't have made me laugh that hard.

Perez, Macias and Hollandsworthless are definitely the "Dusty Boys" though. There, we go, better? Actually, Hendry and the front office have done a good job of putting togather a great roster. It's the people in the dugout who are under-performing. I dont understand why Hendry doesnt give Dusty the "Streinbrenner treatment" and say something like, "The Chicago Cubs front office and the Tribune Co. have put togather a team that should be winning a lot more than they are. If this team does not start winning, then changes WILL be made in the dugout." Well maybe someone else will step it up and deserve Hendry's spot in the lineup by year's end
  7. Yep, better get "The Boys" back in there ASAP

  9. This game is so sad that we can't even come up with funny things to say anymore.

  11. I'm calling a garbage time homer by Lee or Ramirez right here.

  13. The Reds are like sharks who smell blood in the water. The Cubs are too easy a prey right now. Talk about kicking a team while they're down.
  14. Over/under on how many Rusch let's score?
  15. Do you think if we start chanting loud enough that they'll catch on in Wrigley? Let's try! FIRE DUSTY! FIRE DUSTY! FIRE DUSTY! FIRE DUSTY!
  16. These fans need to start a riot the likes of Steve Dahl's Disco Demolition night. Just blow the whole thing up!
  17. I don't think the Cubs could beat Tampa Bay or Kansas City at this point.
  18. The Dusty Baker Swan Song tour starts Thursday!
  19. I know for a fact that Lawton can hit a HR. I saw him hit one against the Cubs when I went and saw them at PNC in May. Good thing the leadoff hitter took some pitchers there with a man on, right?
  20. All of 12 people in this forum right now. We're down to 4 or 5 posts per 1/2 inning. Sad.
  21. A couple more runs by the Reds and this thread will be lucky to hit 15 pages by games end
  22. It's just not 70's night without Steve Stone in a Welcome Back Kotter wig
