  1. Following the Spikes here, I can say there were at least 4 or 5 guys that the Cardinals picked WAY after Colvin who I would love in the Cubs organization. 1B Mark Hamilton (Tulane) leads the NYPL with 6 HR in 19 games. RHP Adam Ottavino (1st round pick) has yet to give up an earned run in 4 starts. and the list goes on.
  2. Fair point, but why no Cure? Too many goth bands? tough choices were made.
  3. vote for your fav.
  4. vote for your fav.
  5. Bruce and the E Street Band vs. Foo Fighters vote for your fav.
  6. I've already said (somewhere) that I was trying not to have the tourney dominated by classic rock any more than it already is. Thus, no Styx, Journey, Foreigner, Boston, etc. You wouldn't want 9 ACC teams in the NCAA, would you?
  7. I'll second that. Frank Zappa's band
  8. Styx is an abomination to God.
  9. despite the fact that I think Tom Morello is a genius, it's clear that DeLaRocha was the "Rage" while the other three were "The Machine". Audioslave, musically speaking, is a shell of the power of RATM
  10. Totally agreed. Mike Patton is a musical genius. Everything he touches is gold. I'm sure for some people a vote for FNM is also a vote for Mr. Bungle
  11. I saw the last ever Grateful Dead show (at Solider Field) and it was easily the worst concert I've ever seen.
  12. Frank Thomas - 19 Abreu plus Teixeira - 16  :x  :x  :x  :x
  13. I honestly don't have much experience with the Yes catalog, but "The Joshua Tree" is one of my favorite albums of the 80's.
  14. I completely agree. Far more original than AC "32 albums, no ballads" DC
  15. When was the last time the Bears won a playoff game?
  16. whatever makes people feel better...
  17. Vote for your fav
  18. I didn't know they had such a following. They always struck me as one of those pleasant classic rock station bands who were nice to listen to but didn't do much in the way of changing the landscape of music.
