    lol are you kidding me? What? Haven't you watch D. Lee since the all-star break? A pathetic excuse for a supposed leader with his hitting. I don't think Keener was disagreeing that DLee has been struggling, but that he doesn't deserve to have garbage thrown at him. DLee has a higher OPS in the 2nd half, than he did in the 1st half but he's not batting 1.000 with runners on so he sucks :roll:

What he's refuting is the old school notion that you need a speedy leadoff hitter, all or nothing #4 hitter, etc. So your saying you would want Ty Cobb hitting 4th? Lol. Ty Cobb would be an awesome middle of the order hitter

So show me your 'people' that have proven it doesn't matter who your leadoff hitter is. i believe the 'people' was either bill james or baseball prospectus. i'm sure someone here can provide you with the link
