  1. he consistently gets no run support
  2. To be fair, Gaetti had a good season with the Cubs, and was pretty good during his Twins days. yeah, i posted that thinking the original thread was just ex-cubs. he probably doesn't belong and really, gaetti had a good 1/2 season. 1999 was horrible
  3. so, yeah, what's going on? mlb.tv's got nothign
  4. that just proved why Santo shouldn't do it every day. yeesh
  5. I dont think that Matt Morris is very fair to add to that list. He sucks not cause he is old and has no arm left. But his first 6 years he had ERA+ of 130, 166, 130,137,114, and 111. So he was a pretty good pitcher his first 6 years in the league. yeah, all with the Cardinals. since he's left the cardinals, he's sucked
  6. for some reason, i thought you meant just former Cubs who were good with the Cardinals since that's not the case, I'll add: Chris Carpenter Matt Morris
  7. gary gaetti julian tavarez john mabry
  8. Eckstein couldn't grit himself into the air enough to catch that one
  9. 3rd place
  10. i've had Vista since it came out and have had no problems. big difference, however, is that I use Firefox
  11. he was due BOLD PREDICTION: If the Cubs lose this, Milwaukee wins tonight. No question.
  12. it's gonna be one of THOSE games, I see
  13. by OPS .235 (Marshall) .822 .711 .785 .735 .926 .898 .723 .847 Hmm kind of proves my point more than OBP, but I still see agree with you on how it doesn't matter as much as I thought. Thank you for looking that up. what the two lists (OBP and OPS) show me is that the ideal lineup would be something like this: Theriot Kendall Lee Ramirez Soriano DeRosa Jones Murton Pitcher
  14. very true. Although I think the Yankees one is obvious. no, Scott Brosius retired
  15. by OPS .235 (Marshall) .822 .711 .785 .735 .926 .898 .723 .847
  16. if Cedeno was hitting behind Ramirez, wouldn't you want to throw good pitches to Ramirez, as putting him on base is fine considering how unlikely it is that Cedeno would drive him in? So why not pitch to Ramirez in that situation? Walking him would mitigate some potential damage, but he's still getting on base
  17. who is the face of any team? Who's the face of Boston? Dice-K? Ortiz? Schilling? How about the Yankees? A-rod? Jeter? Rivera? this is all sorts of stupid
  18. theriot is such a great leadoff hitter! just kidding, it was a little ambitious though
  19. alright, MojoPin can do PBP, as i'm on about a 30 second delay on mlb.tv
  20. double into left center for Ankiel, Ryan at 3rd, 0 out
  21. single for Ryan on an 0-2 pitch. 1 on, 0 out
