IIRC, didn't one time Jones said that he was working with Tony Gwynn with his swing? I can't recall when it was, but it was when he was in Chicago. unfortunately for Jones, it was Tony Gwynn Jr.
That ranks up there with the Theisman MNF leg break replay. I haven't seen this yet either and I hope I never do. There are a handful of replays that I don't care to see again - Theisman is one, the Beltran - Cameron collision is another. the worst one ever was the hockey goalie who took a skate blade to the throat. they showed that once on some ESPN special and it was the only time i can remember having my blood run cold and feeling light headed
in a one mile stretch along college/beaver avenues (two parallel streets downtown) there are over 80 eating/drinking establishments, with dozens more outside of town. you'll have to be more specific
PriorPower is. I'm not forking over $1500 for a ticket to what is likely to be a not very competitive game they are trying to do a stadium-wide white out, but i guarantee that the grumpy old alumni and boosters who have all the seats between the 40 yard lines will eff it up
considering the amount of lazy "curse/Bartman/99 years/$300 million" coverage the Cubs would get in the playoffs, i'd actually like a team with half a shot to overcome that.
i'm not sure why anyone is surprised that the Cubs are playing badly. The five games against the Cardinals will be the final 5 nails in the coffin, mark my words
