That would be a good deal if he'd take it. he wouldn't. if he's considering signing in Washington (which i've read) then he's clearly in it for the big contract I thought that was Hunter who was considering Washington because of his close friendship with Young? Jones has some relationship with the hitting coach there or something. i can't find the article i read

    I can't think of a better place for Izturis to end up. Hopefully the Cardinals give him a 3 or 4-year contract. they will and he'll win World Series MVP for them
