    pitching numbers look pessimistic and the hitting numbers look extremely close to 2008's actuals

    it seems like an awful lot of work to cherry pick stats on a guy to show he's "unworthy" of MVP when we know you just don't like the guy because he was a drug addict given a second chance.

    my next door neighbor is a huge OSU fan (shocking) and since preseason, he has gone from "best OSU team ever" to "Tressel is screwing this up" to "I don't think we'll beat MSU much less PSU".

    Only game I'd be remotely worried about it is @OSU...Also possibly MSU just cause of Ringer, but yeah you guys should win out. Just hope Bama or Texas lose I'm not worried about OSU. They are 94th in the nation in offense and their defense has gotten blown up by a good offense already this season. it'll be a night game in the shoe and ohio state kicked our ass last year. that is not an easy game at all; i'd say ohio st is still the favorite, even if they haven't looked too good recently. being in Columbus at night won't matter when PSU is clearly the better team. I don't know how much OSU you've watched this year, but they are extremely mediocre so you are confident that penn state will beat ohio state, but somewhat afraid that we could lose at home to indiana? guh? No, Indiana should be a blow out. I'm more afraid of a general let down after the "tough" part of the schedule is over. That end of season MSU game always seems to be tough regardless of how good either team is. Penn State has lost a few of those that they shouldn't have

    I don't think there's a single player who says to himself, "Hey, I'm making a Howry load of money, so I'll just dog it during the playoffs." This is such a cop out explanation and almost certainly untrue.

    Pretty sure that has nothing to do with it. I'm a reluctant Obama voter. It's just a bad impression. It's not like he's doing anything insulting to Obama that would offend his fans. It's just a terrible impression that sounds nothing like him. agreed. Poehler's Hillary Clinton is awful too. The only funny part about it is the bitterness.

    I agree. OSU's offense has looked HORRIBLE the last few weeks, and they haven't faced an offense like PSU's since USC, and you saw how that turned out.

    I'm hoping PSU/UM is just another blow out. I keep bracing for a let down game, but they don't seem to have one in them (yet). I'm actually pretty confident they'll beat Michigan and Ohio State, but am concerned that they'll somehow screw the pooch against one of Iowa, Indiana or Michigan St. Can't let up
