I guess there has been some note of sunspots recently: http://dsc.discovery.com/news/2008/09/26/sun-spot-solar.html I don't know how to intrepret the images you posted. Just looks like the Sun to me. :) why would sunspots only affect the FOX satellite though?

    We're through 7 weeks of the season and there are a remarkable number of undefeated teams still hanging around: Alabama 5-0 Ball St. 7-0 Boise St. 5-0 BYU 6-0 Ok. St. 6-0 Penn St. 7-0 Tx. Tech 6-0 Texas 6-0 Tulsa 6-0 Utah 7-0 Now a lot of this will sort itself out in the next few weeks, of course. When Andy posts next weeks thread I'll post the remaining schedules of all the undefeated teams

    Meph's point is that Florida missing an extra point doesn't suddenly make them worse than BYU and Utah. That's not too hard to understand. His claim that W-L doesn't matter comes from a predictive point of view. Teams with less losses should not be predicted to win over teams with more losses in every match up.
