  1. If he was willing and/or able to hire quality offensive and defensive coordinators, he'd be fine. But he's a gameday idiot and he has bad coordinators. Lovie can't make a decision to save his life. This team routinely wastes precious seconds trying to figure out what they are going to do, call all sorts of unnecessary timeouts and punts in enemy territory every game. This team was playing from behind for a playoff berth and Lovie played these games like a 12 win team just trying to coast into the playoffs. He does "get the most" out of the players, but then he sabotages those efforts with stupid decisions, including letting Babich and Turner repeatedly muck up winnable games. Fair enough, but who would you replace Lovie with? The only guy I would consier is Marty, which I would do in a heartbeat. I don't see Angelo making such move at all. I really think the root of all this teams problems start with Angelo. Like they say, Veteran's Commitee flows down not up. The 2007 draft is a complete joke outside of Olsen. Dan Bazuin, Michael Owko & Wolfe? Are you kidding me? These players should be filling key positions now, but are basically wasted picks. We should also kill the notion that Angelo is some type of defensive guru when it comes to the draft. He hasn't found any gems on D since 2004. Since then he has basically drafted borderline starters.
  2. Not feeling the Lovie hate. I think he did a remarkable job this season squeezing 9 wins out of a 4-5 win team. Yes, he is pretty bad on gameday at times, but keeps a good locker room and gets the most out of his players. Are there better head coaches out there? Sure. Any available? Maybe(Marty S?) You might be able to do better, but you could certainly do worse. I think it is impossible to make any judgement on Orton, or any other QB you bring in with this group of WR's. They are by far the worst in the NFL. Devin Hester is the only one that has any business on an NFL roster. I'd like to see how much TJ Housh would cost in FA. Ruvell Martin is an interesting prospect that probably would come cheap from GB. I think he can be a very good WR in this league but is buried on the depth chart.
  3. Guys, I'm sorry but talks of Bosh or Stoudemire are pipe dreams. Reinsdorf will not pay the luxury tax.
  4. I really don't get the Marinelli love at all. First off, people rave that he was such a great DLine coach in Tampa. Well, I'm guessing that had alot to do with the fact that guys like Simeon Rice and Warren Sapp were in fact, great football players. Then he goes to Detroit and during that time the team is terrible on defense every year. That team didn't have one single specific strenght on that side of the ball. In contrast, when Lovie came from St. Louis, the Bears were a pretty bad overall defensive team his first season, but they at least jumped to the top of the NFL in forced turnovers. Now, granted alot of Detroits woes should be placed on Millen, then again if a guy is such a great defensive mind he should be able to take any group of scrubs and at least finish in the top 20 of defensive rankings.
  5. What are everyone's thoughts on the Bears going after TJ Housh this offseason? I'd be all for it. The numbers he put up this season are pretty amazing considering he had a worst supporting cast on offense than the Bears. He is a bit old for my liking, but definetly someone I can see stablizing the position for a while.
  6. Go Eagles! Go Giants! Go Raiders!
  7. Corey Graham just might be the best corner on this roster at the moment. At the very least he is head and shoulders above Vasher. There have been two major events that have obviously led to a improved defense the last part of this season. Dvorcekz(sp) injury and the insertion of Anthony Adams into the lineup. Sorry, Dusty was getting his arse handed to him this season, and the injury to Vasher and insertion of Graham who is much more physical and is better in coverage.
  8. Daniel Manning has become a nice little football player for us.
  9. Am I high on drugs, or was Luol Deng actually a promising your player a couple of seasons ago? Just watching him on offense, he is sooo bad now. He can't do anything on offense. Watching him trying to create for himself is just pathetic at times.
  10. Intriguing meaning Rose will more than likely rape Augustine. Thank God we won the lottery.
  11. That whole team is obnoxious, I really hope someone clocks Garnett this season. You won't find a bigger beotch in the NBA.
  12. Karma? http://www.iht.com/articles/ap/2008/12/16/sports/FBN-Vikings-PWilliams-Out.php
  13. We played like that poopstain on Bree's face the 2nd half. Unreal. This team still sucks...I don't care what anyone says.
  14. Rashied Davis should have been aborted.
  15. Imagine how good this team would be if we had an actual professional head coach like D'Antoni.
  16. I hope that everyone that voted against Santo gets into a car accident tonight.
  17. This team minus Rose is probably worse than your team. I just really hate Del Negro. Nothing against him personally, but he doesn't have the professional skills to coach at this level, and I just really hate the fact he is here.
  18. He probably actually played more minutes because of it. Rose is the engine that runs this team. You always rest your stud late in the 3rd, early in the 4th. That is what Phil did all the time with MJ, because they also get the extra rest during the quarter timeout. And if he let Rose play another couple of mintues the lead woudl have been enough to ice it away. Instead he has to rip him off the bench again. Del Negro isn't here because he was a hidden gem...some NBA stud coachin the making. He is here because he is cheap. Bottom line.
  19. He almost singlehandly cost us the game. You don't sit you studs late in the 4th until the game is serioulsy in the bag. You are not supposed to bring back you best players in an emergency because the other team has suddenly "roared" back. That isn't basketball. We are freakin running a head coaching internship this season.
  20. LMAO! Del Negro is seriously the worst NBA coach I have ever seen, and I have seen some bad ones. This little QG D-Bag decides to not subsitute Rose out at all late in the 3rd and then pulls him with about 5+ change to go in the 4th qtr, thinking the game is in hand, and when the Wizards roar back is forced to bring Rose back in the game. Unreal, of all the actual profesional head coaches we could have had, D'Antonie, Avery Johnson, Carlisle...we took this moron. Pathetic.
  21. Derrick Rose has been on the bench like this entire quarter. God I hate Del Negro..he is just awful.
  22. god this sucks. Fire Del Negro.
  23. I think I may have man love for Derrick Rose.
  24. You rang? http://home.satx.rr.com/claneva/madden.jpg
