  1. Bosh isn't coming to Chicago, neither is Amare, or Lebron or Wade. Sorry. 2010 is pipedream.
  2. Lendale White is garbage. Always has been.
  3. Probably a good signing, at least they have an NFL Dline coach and wont' be running an internship program again, but still, some of these statements just baffle me... From the Sun Times... http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/bears/index.html Come on now...Warren Sapp was one of the best DT's to ever come out of college and fell in the draft because he like to smoke some weed. I'm pretty sure Sapp would have been great in any situation.
  4. I'm assuming this is a four lane street?
  5. I don't trust anyone that makes their coin in real estate.
  6. Why do I get the feeling once Tyrus Thomas leaves the Bulls he will become an all star?
  7. A few years ago he put a public whipping on Stephen A. Smith after Smith was talking trash about him on TV. I'm pretty sure the Blazers meant that email directly to Memphis, but basically CC'd the entire NBA. And this issue is much deeper than Darius Miles, it is the fact that Jerry West is still the GM of the Lakers. First Gasol was handed to LA for nothing in one of the most one sided trades in NBA history and now Mephis is basically trying to muck up Portland's cap. Is it maybe because Portland will probably be the main threat to LA the next few years with their core of Roy, Aldridge & Oden? Stern needs to step in, the NBA is becoming the WWE.
  8. I think it is default protocol, for any transaction the Red Sox make, to immediately turn around and cast it as a critque on Hendry. Think the Rocco will play in 09? Probably not.
  9. That Klaff guy sounds like a real D-Bag. Go buy the Chicago Fire please.
  10. Are people seriously crying about not getting Baldelli? When was he ever good? Did I miss the memo?
  11. Floor has to be lower than that. Francoeur had a bad year last year but is still a good young player. No he doesn't have disapline but had a good average up until last year (I know OBP is more important but average still counts for something). He has good power and plays GG defense. If at worst Vitters is a career .270, 20 hr, GG defender I don't know many teams that wouldn't be very please with that. His floor is some guy no one remembers because he bombed out once he got to AAA/Majors. I don't think Vitters will but he could. ha! Francoeur is pure garbage. You make me laugh.
  12. One name I haven't seen tossed around as a possiblity for the Bears is Alex Smith. If he is cut by the 49ers(Which might happen if they decide to go with Shaun Hill as their QB of the future), why not take a shot? He is a talented kid, and while probably didn't deserve to be the #1 overall pick, you have to consider the 2005 draft was a pretty poor at the top talent wise. That being said he still would have been a first rounder in any year. I don't think there is any worse way to handle a young QB that what Mike Nolan did with him questioning his toughness. If available, I'd bring him in and have him compete with Orton for the starting job.
  13. Bulls with a tough loss tonight against the mighty T-Wolves. Pathetic. When does Del Harris take over?
  14. Not really, in this context.
  15. you have no point. stop. Then tell me his significant accomplishments in the NFL? Other being the DL line coach for a defense that will probably have 3 HOF's someday.
  16. He was such a great DLine coach in Tampa. I mean, it wasn't like guys such as Simeon Rice and Warren Sapp were high regarded college prospects. What he did there was simply amazing.
  17. Gray deserves those calls for being so big, so white, and so bad. I love how this statement doesn't get the crap it should. Vince Young should be on the bench in Tennessee because he is so dumb, so black, so bad. Both ways are racist. are you [expletive] kidding me?
  18. He would have been a great short term solution. His offense by default creates a ton of shots. This means a ton of points to go around. This also means a ton of rebounds available. The scrubs on this team would have been able to inflate their stats and actually make them desired around the league.
  19. Gray deserves those calls for being so big, so white, and so bad.
  20. I agree, which is really sad because I though Boylan was the worst coach I ever saw. Just end this already and promote Bickerstaff or Del Harris for crying out loud.
  21. Year in and year out the Bulls are the most profitable teams in the NBA, yet they haven't paid the luxury tax since Jordan. The only time they were a remote player for a big name FA was Ben Wallace..then again it was really down to the Bull and Pistons so maybe most of the league realized he was done. It isn't hard to determine we have a big ownership problem here and it is 100% fair to say Reinsdorf is a bad owner. Over 10 years now since we have had an all star. No big name FA's and brutal drafting the past decade and both GM's during this time have been in-house guys. Why not look for an well respect outsider to run this organization? Why should, as a lifelong fan, look at this organizationg and say anything but "ownership sucks"
  22. No, it really wasn't. It's your constant accusation that Reinsdorf refused to pay anyone any money and always goes for the cheapest option. And there is plenty evidence to support that. http://www.forbes.com/lists/2008/32/nba08_NBA-Team-Valuations_Income.html Despite being the most profitable team in the NBA, they continue to operate as a small market team. It is common knowledge the Bulls refuse to pay the luxury tax. Pau Gasol is not here for that reason.
