The situation Lovie, is that if you keep them in bounds the game is over. It doesn't matter where they are in bounds, game over you win. They could be in bounds @ midfield, at the 30, or at the 1 yard line. It doesn't matter, the game is over. The only thing that beats you is a sideline pass were the receiver can get out of bounds. So you guard the sticking sideline..bracket the damn reciever! Is this guy for real? I cannot believe the stupidiy of this coaching staff, specfically Lovie.

    Cassell is pure garbage, hell I remember last year when the Patriots were blowing out the Dolphins and they put Casell in, he threw 2 pics, and quickly they had to run Brady back in. I can't believe they are seriously rolling with him the rest of the season.

    1) Forte is a huge upgrade over Benson. No doubt. That being said, Grossman had no trouble stinking up the field in the 2nd half of 2006 with a quite caplable back named Thomas Jones 2) Talent wise, this offensive line is about at the level of last year. We are stronger @ RT, but probably weaker @ LT. LG w/ Beekman might be slighlty better than last season. 3) Our WR talent is signficaltly weaker this year. Bottom line, the downfall of Grossman was that he could not handle the blitz. To make excuses for him is silly.

    I'm not too concerned in that aspect..from what I have seen teams have been blizting Orton just as much as Grossman, the difference being Orton does a much better job of hanging in the pocket and getting rid of the ball.

    He's not even 100%, is he? I dunno, who cares. It was a supreme waste of money. He's the best DT in football when he's healthy. "When healty" being a key word.
