Except it's not. Marshall has been solid with the exception of two or three starts this year and Rich Hill had an ERA of 2.64 post-ASB (it was 3.81 pre-ASB) coming into the game. He had starts where he allowed 2, 1, 2, 3, and 1 ER's in his five post-ASB starts. Why do people keep saying/implying that pitching is a problem with this team. IT'S NOT. It's the offense that is the problem. Well, I didn't exactly say that. Does anyone honestly feel comfortbale with Hill on the mound? Once one little thing goes wrong, a snowball effect occurs. I like Marshall, I would start Marshall over Hill all things being equal right now. I'm not ignoring the offense, but how much can you really expect tonight without 2 of their best hitters? I know this much though, you can't give up 6 runs and expect to win.
