  1. He wasn't too bad when healthy. I'm not against it if we'd use him as a Monty type guy after the All Star break/in 2020.
  2. I remember Zagurski pitching for the Dbacks and Phillies way back. He's also in my 2008 Baseball Mogul (because it was free). He's lasted a long time for someone who has barely pitched in the majors.
  3. Well, to be fair, the three players the Dodgers traded have some intrinsic value, while the players we would like to unload are extremely bad. Even if this is a salary dump, I'm surprised not to hear more substantial names other than Bailey because Puig and Wood are both very valuable players. Puig and Wood aren’t “very valuable” get the hell out of here. They’re okay players. I’d liken Puig to Zobrist and Wood to Monty in terms of trade value. They're both 3 win players. They're not "stars" but they're really solid players. Wood would be a 5 win pitcher if he was able to make 32 stars.
  4. The Dodgers are releasing Bailey. They're going into tanking mode. Bryce is all ours!
  5. [tweet] [/tweet] wow
  6. Guessing it's Puig to the Reds, giving the Dodgers money for Harper. SIGH.
  7. Can confirm it is the artist formerly known as gooney, and he is great.
  8. Not terrible depth. He can play multiple positions, can hit a bit. Basically Mike Freeman with less glove and more bat/David Bote lite. Still, I'M BORED, SIGN BRYCE.
  9. Oh it did, you're right. It's official now.
  10. Like others have said, don't hate it at that price. He's a more versatile LaStella. But I just wish there was more happening. My ideal scenario is this leads to a Russell trade, pushing Javy to short and Happ/Zobrist at second with Descalso as the backup at both spots.
  11. So I guess they gave up on trying to work with the Marlins.
  12. 6-7 years or 6-7 opt outs?
  13. I'm partial to Jake Peavy.
  14. Hendry did it first!
  15. Also took Rafelin Lorenzo, a catcher from Pittsburgh and Alex Vargas, a pitcher from the Yankees.
  16. In the AAA portion, we lost David Garner (Toronto) and Yapson Gomez (Cleveland). Apparently we also don't have Jeffrey Baez anymore, he was taken off the Giants roster by Arizona. We picked up lefty pitcher Luis Lugo from Kansas City. Numbers don't look to bad. He pitched well in winter league. Another lefty for the Iowa shuttle.
  17. Well that's interesting.
  18. Maybe it's just me, but that seems like a lot for Joe Kelly. I'm gonna assume the price on Robertson is gonna be too high then.
