Beat me to it. Yeah, not sure I'd trade Crawford for him but there isn't room for all of Crawford, Kingery, Segura, Hernandez and apparently Machado (or Franco if he stays).
I still can't decide who this trade works out better for. The Mariners shed Cano's contract and get some decent prospects but also waste Diaz's full trade potential. The Mets get an elite reliever but are now stuck with a bad contract. And they probably won't be that good during Diaz's cheaper years.
How does Rizzo feel about his son being traded? I'm also going to assume Harper hates La Stella and insisted he be traded before signing with the Cubs and no one will convince me otherwise.
Not bad, but that Phillies trade works for no one. I wouldn't make that deal just to get rid of Heyward's contract and the Phillies don't want that either. Doubt they want Russell too.
He's posted decent numbers a few years now. Kinda surprised he didn't get called up at some point since we gave seemingly every other Iowa arm a shot. Now jettison Duensing into the sun.
Hasn't this guy had some inside info before? Take it with a grain of salt, regardless, but I'm bored and need rumors so I'm sharing it. [tweet]

Martin looks interesting enough and I'm sure he'll get taken by someone but I also think Dietrich or Spangenberg would be a better use of a roster spot next season, assuming we get someone to replace seal boy. Who do we think we're losing in the draft? I feel like it's almost guaranteed someone will take a shot on Clifton.
I'd rather go after Dietrich. Same, way more certain bat Why not both? See if you can get Spangenberg on a MiLB deal with a ST invite. If not, meh. I also prefer Dietrich, but Spangenberg's defense is higher rated.
As fun as Seal Boy is, Dietrich and Spangenberg are both way more useful on the roster and could be had for basically nothing now. We were rumored to be talking to the Marlins about a Dietrich trade over the summer. Since La Stella pulled that whole "I'm in Chicago or nothing" a couple years ago, maybe he could be convinced to just retire and be a bench coach.
Spangenberg hasn't really put it together but he can play multiple positions and has some speed and pop so I don't imagine he'll make it through waivers.
Or something like that. Cubs traded Jason Vosler for Rowan Wick. [tweet]
[/tweet] Had hoped Vosler would be used as an interesting chip for a bat-needy AL team. But he's really not that great of a prospect.
