  1. Finally a move. He's been a fine middle reliever for a few years but was pretty great in 2025 (and the second half of 2024).
  2. And we non-tendered Eli Morgan. I know he had a lost year but that kinda sucks given we gave up a really interesting prospect for him a year ago.
  3. Yankees non-tendered Mark Leiter Jr and Scott Effross. And also Michael Arias (remember him?)
  4. Yeah he posted obscene numbers in the AFL but he's also going to be 25 in June and hasn't played in AA yet. I'll be curious to see where he starts the season.
  5. Also we non-tendered McGuire. Not unexpected.
  6. Rangers non-tendered Adolis Garcia. Maybe we should aim higher but he's a right fielder with a good glove and power. Potentially a RH complement to Caissie?
  7. Yeah that's like a ghost of rumors past. And honestly if the entire front office was completely caught off guard by him accepting the QO, then that's pretty damning. I kinda doubt that's the case. Maybe they thought he was leaning toward declining but you have to plan for the chance he accepts.
  8. After 10 that's quite a drop off. And I know he had a great debut and was a 2nd round pick but feels like Kepley is being over-ranked.
  9. I mean it's one year of Ward vs. four years of Rodriguez. If he's healthy that is a big get for the Angels. The obvious problem is he hasn't been healthy in a year and a half.
  10. Orioles and Angels just announced a trade that no one saw coming Taylor Ward for Grayson Rodriguez
  11. I was half-joking. I miss his personality and power but he's basically unplayable in the field. I wouldn't mind him on the bench but I think we could do better.
  12. I guess we're not worried about the other AAA arms. The Rays DFA'd Morel. Bring him home!
  13. We're gonna get 40 man roster news soon. Triantos feels like he will get added. As will Pedro Ramirez. I wonder if they're worried enough about McCullough or Noland to add them. And I don't know where Birdsell is in his rehab but would a team take a chance on a guy that won't pitch for awhile?
  14. Gleyber, Grisham, Woodruff and Shota all (so far) accepted the qualifying offers. That seems like more than usual?
  15. Honestly fine with it. Gives them the option to look into Cease or talk trade with other clubs. They still could pursue both avenues.
  16. PCA finished 9th in MVP voting. Busch, Hoerner, Seiya all got votes.
  17. I know it feels like the "cheap" option but adding Adell gives some runway/buffer for Caissie in RF should he stumble. Going into last season with Jon Berti as our backup OF went as well as everyone expected. I wonder if the Angels could be open to an Adell/Detmers package. Kill two birds with one stone.
  18. The Transactions forum was still showing up for me until like 2 days ago.
  19. MLBTR put out a list of minor league free agents and man there are some "guys" (former top prospects, guys I forgot were around, etc): https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2025/11/players-electing-minor-league-free-agency.html As for us:
  20. He probably won't but I will be mad if some other team gets him back to form from a couple years ago and the Brewers being that team.
  21. Yeah, this. PCA just made it look easy out there and the stats back it up. Bailey is elite so I wouldn't have been mad but this felt like popularity more than merit. Oh well.
