  1. Active, instinctive, quick feet, gets through blocks to make the tackle, high football intelligence? I woulda guessed we drafted Urlacher's successor
  2. Have some fun and play sporcle http://www.sporcle.com/games/aheig82/mlb-team-with-least-home-runs-since-1960
  3. It's at this point we just pretend this hugely promoted "bunting tournament" didn't take place, right?
  4. Our current 3B is lazier than our last one. Get dirty.
  5. ESPN game cast had him over .400 So my instincts are right.
  6. Where's Fred? I feel like Starlin's ba/risp is horrible so far this year. Just haven't googled it.
  7. May your ACLs be strong and never tear twice
  8. 1) He's referencing something diffeent for Brust (about transferring B1G schools). But yes, people who try to use Brust against Bo are using an entirely different situation. 2) My biggest beef is that the system is broken, and Bo is being made the poster boy, even though he's only had 2 transfers in 11 years. He's actually too loyal to his players to a fault. He spoke out against Russell Wilson transfering in. This situation just blew up out of control.
  9. 5 hitters, 12 pitches in the top of the inning? Really?
  10. Pierre Pierce rage is the best rage Edit: I know you're prob talking about Recker's knee
  11. Minnesota recently blocked 25 schools for someone's who name I can't think of, and Danny Manning at Tulsa is allowing his guard to talk to only 3 schools. Obviously, this is all a PR nightmare. Bo's only had 1 player transfer before (deep bench player, not an expected starter). He went a bit overboard with the list. However, Uthoff hasn't been a saint in all this either. He waited until Bo was on a recruiting trip to tell the program he was leaving, he hasn't talked with anyone about it, Bo offered to fly back to Madison to talk and Uthoff declined, and Uthoff had someone else give his appeal list to the athletic office (the wrong person at that). I'm not gonna defend that this is all going off the deep end, but noone will remember it in 6 months, and barely anyone knew who Uthoff was 6 days ago.
  12. At least Bo is being classy about it. http://www.metrosportsreport.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6493&catid=184#.T4zultg-aZI.twitter :good: Seems a bit harsh, but rumors are that Iowa State possibly got in his ear. If he really "wanted to be closer to home", that's the only school that he should be upset about. B1G regulations would make it tough to transfer to Herk. He was Bo's top recruit last year, Bo invested time, scholarship, and practice/teachings. I try to consider it like a non-compete in business, or when businesses pay for someone's MBA but require them to stay with them for at least 2 years following. I understand the kid is only 19, but he made a decision and there are consequences.
  13. BA as a Cub: Koyie Hill: .208 Paul Bako: .218 Hank White: .255
  14. Confirmed that he's asked for his released. Everyone is shocked and doesn't know why. He's only a freshman and redshirted this year to add lbs. There has to be some sort of reason.
  15. Danny O'Brien chooses Wisconsin. Given our current QB situation, this is huge news.
  16. Just hire Regie Theus and then replace him halfway through with Dick Butkus. It worked on Hang Time.
  17. rumors that the deal was done until a board member threw a stink that it's not a minority hire. True?
  18. You're a step ahead of me
  19. Those faceless ghouls have beaten the Hoosucks 11 times a row, right?
  20. I've always argued he has had talent. This year he had Jordan Taylor. He did a superb job. He's a great evaluator and developer of talent. Taylor was a 2 star and barely recruited, Ryan Evans was a wreck his first two years out of HS, and Berg is plain awkward. But look how those 3 have played this year. For all those recruiting jokeys, they only see that Bo's only had 1 all-american at Wisconsin (Butch). So in that sense, having made 4 sweet 16s and an elite appearance in 11 years with only 1 all-american is quite the job.
  21. Bo's best coaching job. Easily.
  22. My only debate is if Bo was trying to get Berg back in the game, then take the timeout. Otherwise, you have the ball in the hands of your senior PG, down by one. You trust he makes the right decision. He's made the big shot plenty of times in the past. Just a great game. Would have loved to won. I think the Badgers opened a lot of eyes tonight, but making 7 three pointers in a row will do that.
