  1. Saw players tonight at hotel in Chicago. Both before game, and after at Renaissance. An overall good time.
  2. He's been especially annoying tonight.
  3. Marble is too frantic with the ball in his hands
  4. I've given up trying to understand Bo's subbing patterns. He gives the upperclassman a very long leash, but pulls the underclassmen quickly. Dekker still working on his defense.
  5. Interesting stat: Wisconsin's 17 points in the first half was their lowest point total in a half this season. Wisconsin's 51 points in the second half was their highest point total in a half this season.
  6. I just think the guy to replace is Evans, but Bo seems to like his defense. Yeah, not a big fan of Evans. Seems to put up numbers because of his minutes. I don't think he's even that good of a defender. Christian Watford has had his way with him when he's tried. Bo is big on intelligence and execution. Both Evans and Bruiser have their limitations offensively (Bruiser can only hit open jumpers or scraps, Evans has decent moves and mid-range but tries to do too much), but they generally play within the system. And they can both body up on defense, which Dekker is still working on. Dekker's minutes will keep increasing, and he's been seeing more minutes lately when the game is on the line. I actually prefer him as our 6th man as a freshman, keeping some pressure off. He'll get 30+ min/game next year.
  7. The calls are getting louder. But he either takes time away from Bruiser or Evans, and each are seniors and light years ahead defensively. Bo's been switching more with Dekker and Evans at end of game for offense/defense.
  8. Only 1 of the white guys on the court is from Wisconsin (Dekker). Brust and Kaminsky are from Illinois, Bruiser and Berg from Minnesota. But please, keep going.
  9. Lol, you aren't winning there, MSU, or Michigan. You're done in the big ten race. Unless you're rooting to keep the number one ranking why ever cheer for Bo Ryan? Why do u give a [expletive] who I root for? Lol, awesome. What u wanna bet IU wins 1 of Wisconsin, Michigan, Michigan St on the road? Indiana doesn't play at Wisconsin this year, so your odds aren't as good as you think.
  10. Someone get the walking glue stick behind Dontrelle some sunscreen before he shrivels up and dies.
  11. The woman beater market is pretty dry right now, Brett Meyers signed a few weeks ago Supply and demand at its finest.
  12. So.......does this hurt his trade value (whatever he had)?
  13. Honest question: did Bruce not recruit a PF/C for a while because he expected Leonard to stick around? The lack of front court is just killing.
  14. The university said "the proper authorities" are investigating a "very cruel deception." Are these the same proper authorities that looked into the deaths of Declan Sullivan and Lizzy Seeberg? Great.
  15. Um...and then there's this story from the South Bend Tribune from October http://articles.southbendtribune.com/2012-10-12/sports/34419536_1_brian-and-ottilia-manti-te-o-irish-head-coach "The plan was for Kekua to spend extensive time with the whole Te'o family when upwards of 40 of them came to South Bend in mid-November for ND's Senior Day date with Wake Forest. "They started out as just friends," Brian Te'o said. "Every once in a while, she would travel to Hawaii, and that happened to be the time Manti was home, so he would meet with her there. But within the last year, they became a couple. "And we came to the realization that she could be our daughter-in-law. Sadly, it won't happen now.""
  16. that is just highly inaccurate. if true, kentucky was the luckiest team in the history of college basketball last year, we're talking miracle country. Right, because John Calipari never had any success before he had those players last year. I mean, he never once got close to the tournament
  17. This year? I'll ignore all your commentary and just correct you by saying that Jackson is a soph and did not redshirt. At the college level, coaching beats talent nine times out of ten.
  18. So....Bo....owns....Crean?
  19. Well, no, cause Bo taught Rob Jeter everything he knew. Jeter was an assistant under Bo at Platteville, Milwaukee, and in Madison, before he got his head job UW-M.
  20. Ryan went 4-3 against Crean while Crean was at Marquette. Counting last year's sweep -- neither of which was in Bloomington -- he's 6-3 against Crean (which, I suppose, is close to "owning" depending on one's definition). Counting games against Crean's first three awful IU teams that everyone owned is entirely specious for this purpose. I love ignoring data points in an already small data set. He's 22-53 in B1G action! But 2008-2011 doesn't count. You have to remember the rules.

  22. Bo owns Crean. Berg shut down Zeller last year. Badgers have 10 game win streak vs. Indy. But it'll take a perfect game to keep all that going, especially in Bloomington. Zeller put up 17 in the B1G Tourney vs. Wisconsin last year. The difference between this year and last year should be that Wisconsin won't be able to provide an answer for Yogi Ferrell and an aggressive Victor Oladipo. Forgot about that, was thinking of regular season. Zeller put up 17 but only 1 board in tourney, Berg had 16 and 9.

  24. College: Wisconsin Hometown/current location: Chicago suburbs It's the best of both worlds
  25. That's just a bang-up job right there. Fantastic.
