It's Montana. Granted, I have UW going to the Elite 8 in one of my two brackets. We lost twice to Iowa this year, so I'm not taking anything for granted. Plus it's the tournament. Gotta get out of the first weekend, no matter who you play.

You know who's an innocent bystander getting shot in all of these Weber articles? Nebraska. And I find it funny each time. No matter who wrote the article, there's always a point in the season discussing the Nebraska clunker, and turns into a short paragraph about how bad NE is. Most recent SI article: Weber sounded like he was giving up, and his team played like it the next game. The Illini lost to Nebraska by 23 points, which is almost impossible. There were times this year when I didn't think Nebraska would score 23 points.

Consistency. the point is that they were in the ballpark with ohio state in terms of talent. not quite there, but they're still top 3-4 in the bt when it comes to pure talent and ability. Little late to the convo.

The defensive side would be obvious, and I think they'd go through ML everytime on offense. The swing emphasizes matchups and good shots. It just gets down to discipline and effort.

I said that when other posters (not you, you've been very level headed all year) said the Illini has the best talent in the B1G and would be top 3.

Nice win for Iowa. Gotta tip the cap to Gatens - the guy carried his team. After our 12-2 run (or whatever) when we got back to within 51-48 with 12 min left, I thought we were going to keep going. But Gatens goes jumper, jumper, triple, triple in a 3 min span to put them back up 11. Wisconsin will take a 6 seed, make it to the 2nd round, maybe gets to the 2nd weekend, and that's it. Not our best team this year. Next year will be interesting with only losing Taylor (who's nowhere near last year's level, prob still injured), returning other 4 starters, and bringing in Dekker and redshirts Uthoff and George Marshall.
