    I'm kinda surprised we got gameday again, but so it goes. Anyways, there's already talk from MSU about wanting to hurt the Badgers. Between that and Gholston's BS crap last week, I feel a "good vs. bad" slant going on. It'll be fun when we hang 40+ on their "premiere" defense.

    What if Michy still wins Legends division and then beats Wisc in Champ game? so 12-1 Wisc and Mich, 11-1 Illinois? That'd suck. It'd be like MSU getting left out last year, and Wisconsin a few years back with Michigan and OSU. As for the 3 team BCS, isn't the SEC petitioning that THEY can have 3 teams, but not other conferences?

    good football programs recruit athletes and turn them into football players. illinois has done very well recruiting athletes like martez wilson, cory liuget, mikel leshoure, benn, jenkins. their coaching is suspect putting everything together on the field though. Phrased a bit better than I did. FTR: I am wearing a block I shirt right now.

    NW is .500 or better the past 4 years. Stabilized a team that had 3 good seasons the 15 prior years. Consistently winning keeps butts inseats and brings in donations to the program.

    Had a pretty big game last year vs. Ohio St. They'll beat Nebraska. They are a better team and at home in a night game. I think this is a bigger game, but I'm also much more confident than vs. OSU last game. 2 top ten teams, Wisconsin can finally solidify itself this year as a top 5 team by playing a really good team on the national stage. Camp Randall at night is getting closer to the top tier of night locations (LSU, Bama, VTech) for showcase games.

    More like people give way too much weight to only one data point because it's the most recent one. Got it. We live in a society of "what have you done for me lately".

    So when people have some data to base their analysis, they do (as small of a sample size as it may be), and when people don't have any previous data points, they use anecdotal information?
