They'll replace him with Masterson, in my opinion. haven't we learned the "well, we'll just wait to sign free agent X" strategy never works and is terrible?

Ok. I'm pretty sure we didn't get an illegal roster warning for having an extra guy on the bench last year after it came up a few times and points had to be fixed, but maybe I'm wrong. You don't seem to like having to adjust points after the fact, but I don't care how you prefer to handle it. that's because we didn't have the "no points if your roster is illegal" setting on. but because people were like "I didn't know my roster was illegal because there wasn't a huge flashing red signal advising me of such" it was turned on. and you are correct...I do not like having to adjust points after the fact. not denying that at all. if someone thinks they were shorted points because they had an extra pitcher on the bench (but didn't exceed their roster limit), i'll gladly add points back, but I'm not gonna be the one combing through box scores to figure out the points.

people complain about not having the "illegal roster" alert and also don't like that you can't overstuff your bench to avoid going over in starts. I don't think it can be done both ways. also, there really cannot be that many instances where you HAVE to put a bunch of extra pitchers on your bench to avoid going over starts.

most of the teams are in good shape. the following teams are illegal: alamo (21 man roster) quakers (20 man roster) the process (like 39 man roster or something) a reminder...you can have 19 active mlb'ers on your roster. this basically means there are 3 bench spots.
