Except Lilly isn't mediocre and he never has been. If you look at his career stats prior to coming to this season, they define mediocre. Only if you don't know what stats to look at. what stats are you looking at?
I hope for my sake they continue to give up long flyballs. At least for this week! i hope that doesn't mean you're putting your fantasy team ahead of the cubs.
stupid total bases points... 7 INN, 5 HA, 7 K, 3 ER, 1BA, 2 2BA, 2 HRA = 14.5 points  i have way too many damn flyball pitchers on my staff...hill, lilly, sheets, etc. i really underestimated how much a hr hurts you.
i knew there was something different. still, my 2006 score is over 900 points better than the top 2007 score. and wouldn't the pitching stuff boost 2007's scores? basically, what i'm getting at is that i'm awesome (or that i was awesome).
Congratulations Tim! Didn't think you'd beat out the Raw Dawgs this year. Congratulations to all the playoff teams too and thanks to everyone else on another good year. I wouldn't have beat out Raw if I hadn't sold off a bunch of my prime minor league assets to acquire Webb, Ordonez & Halladay prior to the deadline. I was well behind before I made those trades. And I dealt with a couple injuries and ineffective players. Sheffield went down. Hamels is still out. Gallardo had an ugly stretch. Morneau and Uggla had bad slumps. A lot of day-to-day stuff too. I finished about 200 points behind you, but nobody else finished within 200 points of me. and nobody sniffed my score from last season!
