Well, Roberts did VORP 8 runs higher than Hill last year, but as others have pointed out, we've got DeRosa and a few other options at second. The drop from Hill and the next starter is almost certainly greater than the difference between Roberts and the Cobs current options. I'm not really confident that Jim Hendry understands that, though. and it was hill's first full season in the bigs and he makes a fraction of what roberts does. and i think hill's top 10 in the NL showing in whip, k/9, k/bb, and h/9 were better than most #3 starters.
