  1. good to see the fuzzy logistics bounce back from their week of complete [expletive] to put up your run of the mill .400, 4 hr, 12 rbi, 11 run day...and throw in a 6 er CG from shields for funsies. also excited to see nsbb continue their post-putting-up-330-against-me freefall.
  2. and you're in second place despite barely having the fourth most points in the division. like ryan theriot's BA, you're due for a collapse.
  3. can't you babies just enjoy the cubs' success and stop worrying about the cardinals' "luck" or what they're saying at some white sox message board? you're acting like a pathetic, obnoxious combination of red sox and white sox fans.
  4. rickie weeks is doing you a favor by going on the DL.
  5. i'm gonna need to see an ID.
  6. time for nccubs to lose a few f'in games. two games ahead of me in the standings, yet they've outscored me by like six points on the season.
  7. the a's have run into some good offenses the last few weeks which hurts me since le douche and blanton throw back to back.
  8. let's see if the west puts up a better fight this week. not feeling too good about two starts for randy johnson against the pirates and the royals. or the fact that my opponent is coming off a terrible week. or the fact that he gets wells and holliday back. or the fact that shields serves his suspension after his start this week. in conclusion, not feeling too great about this week.
  9. pretty excited that i get you right after you had a terrible week.
  10. embarrassing performance by the west this week.
  11. that doesn't even make sense. so they need starting pitching and they're going to trade a guy who was one of the best pitchers in baseball last year for two fringe major league starters? yeah, sure. and marshall's older than verlander, by the way.
  12. almost all guys "waste" away all their exemptions before being good. which is why i don't get why you guys all have such boners for really young guys that will get called up and suck at age 22, be pretty bad again at 23 (and probably spend some more time in the minors), be mediocre at 24, average at 25 and slightly above average at 26. by the time they're an acceptable fantasy player they have no exemptions. guys i've always valued are guys like r. martin, cano, and now david murphy...i picked all those guys up after they made it to the bigs and were already pretty decent...and still had exemption(s). i'd rather have a 26 year old good fantasy producer with one exemption left than a 21 year old wunderkid with three.
  13. tim's prospects are overvalued.
  14. You can read the Cliff Notes version of this post, directly above! :D I'm trying to get some collusion for Tim and ABuck NOT to win this league, but people still trade with them. I'm there with you DJ! says the guy who got hanley from me.
  15. i kinda wonder if all the talk about it being mental led to it being even more mental...if that makes any sense. gotta be impressed with the one hit (a bunt single) in five innings part though. still got his stuff.
  16. ugh...walks the bases loaded. edit: gets out of it. what is wrong with this guy, seriously?
  17. good third inning for hill, imo. seemed like he was throwing more strikes than he did the first two innings. gave up a run, but it was unearned. i'll leave the batter-by-batter to raisin, but had patterson made a good relay throw on the 6-4 fc, he would have escaped a bases loaded, no outs inning unscathed.
  18. ps - good "old school" save in a one run game last night.
  19. i'd say there is a very, very slim chance he ever starts again, let alone this season. after all they've done in an attempt to keep him healthy, do you really think they're going to change it up now that he's healthy and dominant? no way.
  20. better than trading hill and pie for john grabow at the trading deadline, i suppose.
  21. top tall, hard-throwing reliever with control issues in the system. just above ryan harvey.
  22. johnny damon, please stop talking.
  23. no one at espn can give a capable analysis of a major league all-star, so i wouldn't expect anyone there to be able to do so for high school kids.
  24. i'm guessing most of the problem is that these espn guys have no idea who these players are. i mean, they probably don't know much about sean gallagher or reed johnson, they're not going to know squat about these HS kids.
  25. What the crap, I had a job interview during last year's draft too. you guys are the same person. LOST.
