such BS. coaches put time and resources into recruiting hundreds of guys. they aren't owed anything because of the "resources" they put in recruiting a kid. give me a break...that's moronic. agreed with SSR...no idea why this is allowed/legal. so funny that ryan went on mike and mike to try and salvage the situation...

If he really "wanted to be closer to home", that's the only school that he should be upset about. B1G regulations would make it tough to transfer to Herk. He was Bo's top recruit last year, Bo invested time, scholarship, and practice/teachings. I try to consider it like a non-compete in business, or when businesses pay for someone's MBA but require them to stay with them for at least 2 years following. I understand the kid is only 19, but he made a decision and there are consequences. no, it's pretty lame of Bo. Sorry. seriously, give a break. it's NOTHING like a non-compete. your coach is a dick.

It doesn't really matter who is in your bracket, that's the upset region. Also will you tell me how awful you are all year again next year as you win 30 games? that's less annoying than you telling everyone how good illinois is as they lose 15 games.

I think the stupid NBA draft eligibility rules have a lot more to do with ruining BB than Cal. yeah, how is cal "ruining basketball?" is he NOT supposed to recruit the best players? "no thanks, anthony davis, i don't want you here." Gee I wonder if the $200,000 has anything to do with it? Waiting for the Davis lawsuit to happen. So smart abuck. So smart. And this kid was a pretty big Georgetown lean and suddenly is UK bound. Prolly Cal playing by the rules again. my goodness, you are a baby.

i agree with you that it shouldn't be that difficult to manage your roster legally week to week, but we seem to have a million issues each week the way we are doing it now. we either need to scrap a bunch of the rules or FOLLOW/ENFORCE the rules we have now.

honestly, just allowing us to do whatever we wanted with our rosters, whenever we wanted (as long as they remained legal, obviously), would eliminate like 98% of the arguments and remove all the thousands of exemptions/interpretations.

yes, you definitely can't do this under the current rules.* *though i would be in favor of changing the current rules to allow whatever daily roster changes you want to make...would make keeping up with all this stuff a million times easier.

this didn't effect the outcome of my game last week, but KR put brett myers in after the week had started...the "do anything you want to get 7 starts" does NOT apply to relief pitchers, correct? in other words, relievers have to be in your lineup by the start of the week, right?

Thanks for volunteering..can you add RP to Brett Myers so I can add him as a RP? I thought we agreed to abide by the eligibility rules. When he becomes eligible as a RP, then he'll be eligible. we can't do this. you can't render brett myers a literally unusable player until he meets the RP criteria. that makes no sense. No, you do this. Perfectly reasonable approach with less interpretation and fewer arguments. yeah, that's fine with me.
