Jed Lowrie is going to have the week of his life. You've even got Vogelsong against Houston @ home. Depending on how Nolasco looks tomorrow, I may go with Ted Lilly in a home game instead of Nolasco against Philly. It's really a tough call. Hopefully Uggla hits a couple bombs off Dempster tonight to get things started off right. vogelsong, lincecum and kennedy (x2) have decent matchups. what a clusterf the rest of it is though...wolf v. cubs, dempster with 2 tough matchups, ogando v. boston. could bring up minor to face either the cubs or the mets. hanson and jj being hurt just torpedoed my season.

yeah, your pitching matchups are the only thing giving me hope. that and youkilis' injury. i have pretty good matchups with kennedy and lincecum, but the rest of them aren't so hot. kind of a mess actually.

yep, it is extremely difficult to combat a disaster start. lost close games the last 2 weeks, and i had a -22 start in one week and a -19 start in the other.

i don't really think this week matters that much to me (unless RWD or tootie get beat this week). win or lose, my matchup vs. RWD next week will determine who gets in between those 2 teams.

so the 2 best teams in the east (other than mine) only played each other once. meanwhile, the team i only played once has an injured scott baker in his lineup, a healthy mccann on his bench and is set to get 5 starts this week. good system.

i also just noticed we, for some reason, have an unbalanced schedule? RWD only had to play bazingas (the 1st place team in the division) once? and, of course that means bazingas only had to play RWD once too. that's really dumb.

i would argue it should be points first. it would be pretty f'ed up (and i don't know if it's possible) if there was a 4 way tie in our division and the team with the most points was left out. in other words, you'd be tied for the best record in the division and have the most points...clearly the best team in the division...but finish 4th. that would be a pretty absurd result.

[expletive]. i'm facing the 1st place team in the division and tootie and RWD are facing teams that aren't being actively managed.
