  1. Hey, Bill Russell woke up.
  2. Boy do I hate Chris Anderson.
  3. No... that's Juwan Howard. Or is he Wooderson from Dazed and Confused? No, its definitely Chalmers. They clearly only tolerate him out of obligation/necessity. Agreed.
  4. Terrible defense. How do you both leave LeBron on that play?
  5. Jeez. How do you miss that over Battier?
  6. People don't think Dwight Howard and Kevin Garnett are better than Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan?
  7. My directv just came back on. If it goes out during the game is there a website anyone can recommend to catch the game on until the satellite comes back?
  8. Have they announced when game 1 will be? I heard Wednesday somewhere, but not sure if that's official.
  9. Anyone know which side of the stadium to line up and go in at for SRO?
  10. This is the Bulls' fan playoff thread, not the "everyone respect how great the Heat are" thread. We all know the Heat are great. I'm not sure why people ITT feel like it needs to be pointed out every 10 posts. Because someone mentioned one post earlier that the Heat didn't look that good. It was an absurd statement, and was rightly corrected. The Heat really haven't looked that impressive other than in game 2. I mean they actually lost a game to a team led by Jimmy Butler, Joakim Noah, and Nate Robinson. Wade has looked terrible, especially defensively. Bosh has has a nice couple of games, Cole has looked good coming off the bench, and LeBron has been LeBron but the rest of the team hasnt impressed me. And the +16 per game stat is enormously misleading due to the 40 point raping. The fact that the Bulls won 1 game and had a very legitimate shot to win another one is remarkable.
  11. Over the top means a player that gets them a championship. Nate doesn't do that. If the player or deal comes along that would, I think Reinsdorf would go into luxury tax territory. But he's not spending that to lose to the Heat. Doesn't get them a championship? With Rose and Thibs they already have a shot at the title. The goal every year should be to build the best possible team to contend using every possible resource available. If that means Nate Robinson, or some other player, so be it. Whoa whoa...lets not pretend that the win last night makes the Bulls title contenders. The odds are still hugely against that happening. Even if they beat the Heat in this series...that's a team whose number they've had for some reason. But Indiana beat the Bulls 3 out of 4 this season, and I can't remember the last time the Bulls have had any success against the Thunder. This team has been more than I imagined they could be, but lets not get crazy. The Bulls more than likely are not beating Miami, but if they did they would absolutely be contenders at that point. Never mind, I already stopped caring about arguing because we aren't beating Miami.
  12. With a healthy Derrick Rose on the team next year, would you rather have Nate Robinson or Marco Bellineli? I think I'd rather have Marco.
  13. I'm ecstastic that at least the Bulls are going to get the opportunity to take a couple swings at them. It'll be interesting to see how banged up Wade is after a week of resting. Hopefully Deng and Hinrich will be able to play, but that doesn't seem too likely. At least not for game 1.
  14. Win or lose, I'm proud to be a fan and season ticket holder of the Bulls.
  15. Plus Jimmy. I'd much rather trade Deng (instead of Boozer) and keep Jimmy if possible. Then amnesty Boozer and use the money to pick up a starting SG. Rose/Kirk/Teague FA SG/Kirk Butler/FA SF Love/Gibson/Thomas Noah/Gibson/FA or drafted C Would Deng, Mirotic, CHA pick, Bulls 1st rounder this year/future picks be enough for Love? Maybe, maybe not. They could sell the fanbase on getting an allstar player, European stud (they just had success doing this with Rubio), and some picks to rebuild. At least then they can match Pekovic this summer, pay Rubio, and dispose of Deng's contract when Mirotic is ready to come over. If not, then Boozer, Butler, Mirotic, CHA pick, Bulls pick(s) would likely work.
  16. Why bother playing Joakim?
  17. Not too hard when you have Nate/Kirk/Marco guarding you and our shot blockers injured/in foul trouble. Would have been nice if Deng showed up.
  18. maybe thibs just wants to flex and see if he can plug Bargnani into ***the system*** and still make the defense work The defense would be absolutely fine. Bargnani is no worse of a defender than Boozer. Might be tough for Bargnani to quickly adapt to the system mid-season, but in the long run he would be fine. I'd be somewhat worried about the rebounding, however, getting a stretch 4 means you can play Butler at the 2 more and he's statistically one of the best rebounding guards/wings in the league. I'm still on the fence. I'd lean towards not doing it because you lose the flexibility of being able to amnesty a large contract (Boozer) to create cap space if you have a chance at someone like Love during the 2014 offseason.
  19. Why is Nazr even on the team if he can't even play in a game like tonight?
  20. Jimmy's defense.
  21. What is Taj doing out there? He looks terrible.
  22. I have 2 tix available for tonight's game vs the Lakers. Face is $80 each, just looking for about $120 for the pair. Any takers?
  23. Urlacher was a -11.2. I'm surprised by Lance Louis's -1.8
