Couldnt have said it better myself. Clearly anytime your starting pitcher throws 7 shutout innings it is obviously in an attempt to lose.

He went 3-5 with 2 walks last game. :shrug: Thats it? Time to DFA him. But seriously, I just meant that he had a couple bad ABs today. First time I've ever seen him have even one bad AB so far. Although I should add that I havent seen every game this season.

I think today is the only lefty we've faced over the stretch that Pie has been benched. Maybe there was one other - but most of them were righties. We also faced a lefty on Monday. Johnson started against Oswalt and Backe, though.

Stupid dish network! I already had to purchase an upgrade so I could get the regular CSN (and 20 channels I've never watched). You would think they could throw in CSN+. Seriously...

Pie is losing a lot of playing time

Crowd Control I was standing against the wall, facing the fans, in the isle that the HR flew right over. I turned around as soon as i heard the crack of the bat and saw the fans in my section get wide-eyed. I knew it was coming my way and I didn't want to get hit by a line-drive. Then I realized I would probably look like a clown in the replay - luckily for me you can't tell who i am in that video thanks to it being so blurry. How'd you get that job?

I would bet it has more to do with the way the offense "clicked" today with Johnson in the 2 hole and how miserable it looked in the first 4 games with Pie in CF. For the record, I want Pie to start in CF everyday.
