But vs. Josh Hamilton and the Yank Sox, were going to need some big time offense. Griffey hasnt brought that to the table in quite some time. Hopefully, they'll give him 1 inning and put in someone good. -
Burnett and Bedard are the most likel scenerios. Maybe Byrd or Arroyo if we cant get the other 2 and they come cheap. As for Sheets, the Brewers could fall 25 games out of first, and we offer the entire farm system, and they wouldnt send him our way.

If this is a "forfeit lineup", Id say were in pretty good shape. Granted, Ronny Cedeno has officially joined Neifi Perez, Jose Macias, Ramon Martinez and Rey Ordonez in the worhthtless Latin American Cubs middle infielders of the past 5 years club, but maybe hes do.

Whatever happens, Griffey being ahead of Braun, Kosuke, or even Ludwick is a travesty. Theres a long list of outfielders who should be ahead of Griffey. -
Since you're going to be the prognosticator..... are we going to have home field advantage for that series? Maybe, maybe not, but home will just be a train ride away :wink:

What I dont get is why Griffeys so high up there. I could understand Braun being in 3rd, but with Griffey ahead of him? I mean come on, did some huge group of fans wwho havnt watched baseball in 5 years decide to form some massive voting block?

Without Aramis, our lineup looks 2006 bad. Kosuke, Soto, and Edmonds are going to need to step up big time. -
I do have some friends who are Brewers fans, and the funny thing is how they seem to repeatedly ignore the fact that their is another team in the standings between the Cubs and Brewers.

Is it me or do closers seem to just toy with the Cubs offense when that 9th inning rolls around? It seems we always get something brewing, and kill the rally as quickly as it got started.
