Good inning. Gallagher does not look like a guy whose done giving up runs, but neither does Vazquez. Now part of me just wants to turn this off here and now, and check the score at the end, but my OCD would never allow it.

Oh I dont know, how about not put Fontenot and Cedeno in the lineup? Obviously, given the situation, he needs to use 1, but he could put Murton in LF and DeRosa at 2B

As long as Lee doesnt play as Conon the Rally Killer, I agree. We really need to start putting some win streaks together here. Its the first time since like May where our last 10 games have been <.500. Granted, The Cards and Brewers have their hands full with the 2 hottest teams in baseball, but Im sick of being content with breaking even. We need to pull away, even if just a few games.

Dont over estimate Buerhle. Hes just as likely to give up 6 runs in 3 innings as he is to throw a 3 hit shut out.

Link. This is great news. I dont so much care about the All Star Game. maybe let him start, and only keep him for 1 inning, but we REALLY need to get the band back together. -
