You cant deny that The Cards have gotten lucky with pitching. Carpenter and Mulder may or may not pitvh thuis season. Wainwright is on the DL, yet they still keep getting quality starts from 2 former relievers, a rookie, and a guy who nobody else wanted during the offseason. As for the offense, its doing pretty much whats expected, aside from Ludwick, who even seems to be cooling down a bit. Pujols is Pujols. Glaus is Glaus. Ankiel is doing whats expected from him low average with some home runs. Yadier Molinas doing well for himself, but nothing out of the ordinary. Miles, Kennedy, and Ryan are a bunch of gritty white guys.
