    i don't want to get picky because i'm so happy the cubbies clinched but is anybody else disappointed that the team didn't get to celebrate immediately after the last out of their own game? i understand the circumstances didn't make it possible for that to happen, but for me, one of the most exciting parts of clinching the division is seeing the guys hauling ass out of the dugout and going crazy on the field.

    this thread reminds of the m&m jacket guy. he sits right behind home plate in the scout seats at a ton of white sox games. i've also seen him sitting court side at bulls games. it could be an 90 degree night in the middle of the summer and there he is sitting in the most visible seat at the cell with his obnoxious yellow m&m jacket on.

    if they have a thirsty thursday promotion, the college kids will come out from april-may and late august-september. it worked in peoria before the chiefs moved downtown

    good for him, i've always pulled for him, despite him and the cubs not agreeing on a deal a few years back. congrats.
