I watched almost the entire LA-NY match last night. Its probably stating the obvious, but 3 players were clearly the best on the pitch: Beckham, Alitdore, and Angel. I'm so excited to watch Altidore grow into an even better player. Beckham is a monster. His passing is so crisp and the free kicks he assisted on were beautiful, while the NY defense on them was atrocious. 66,000 people were there to watch it to. Big Chelsea-Liverpool match this morning at Anfield. I don't have a good feeling, but I'd be happy with a point coming out of this one. Go Liverpool! :wink: Wish I could watch, though... 0-0 through 14 minutes. 1-0 L'pool through 16 minutes. Torres with a beauty.

I love my FSC investment already. :D dude .. have you yet seen the show (i think it's "premier league fanzone") where "they" let the fans do the commentary? they replay a fixture from the weekend and instead of the normal play-by-players, they have 1 fan from each side call the action. and if that's not enough, other fans are encouraged to send in text messages which scroll at the bottom of the screen. i stumbled upon it last season and am glad i did so. absolutely hilarious, particularly when goals are scored or controversial calls are made. i love fanzone. i really wish some american sport would pioneer this idea on cable. its brillant and usually the guys are pretty funny. if anyone remembers the spurs-west ham match late in the season last year , hammers were up 2-0, but ended up losing 4-3 with an extra time goal scored by spurs. it was a game that was shown live and then replayed as a fanzone game. when i watched it the first time with traditional announcers, i fought bad for the west ham fans because of the way they lost and it looked like it was going to send them down. watching the fanzone replay of it, gave me an insight into the passion of the average english football fanzone. i thought the west ham fan was going to hang himself. it was painfully to listen to the end of the match.

fulham usa was up 1-0 at arsenal going into the 80th minute. penalty on bocanegra puts it at 1-1, then hleb puts them up 2-1 at the very end of regular time. mcbride, dempsey, and bocanegra all played. i watched from the second half on and didn't know dempsey was in the game until the 75th, he was completely invisible.

i didn't know you could either. when you first pick your team, by default it gives you a 4-4-2. i was skimming the rules for scoring, etc. and then it said you can change formations. my 3-5-2 utilizes my strength in the midfield, and softens my weakness in defense (especially with terry out at least a month).
