  1. Is he saying something about McClellin keeping contain on the edge, since he's always 10 yards away from the QB?
  2. Humble If she takes it all away, he still has basketball.
  3. I said the same thing about the Redskins late in the game.
  4. he is very serious about taking over Jordan's legacy.
  5. Also Well, they have to cut somebody to sign a new QB. They also aren't scheduled to practice all week, so maybe they are just concerned about missing one another.
  6. Yeah, I think Emery is all about the draft. I would be shocked if he traded away anything but a 7th rounder for any current player.
  7. Well, not "any hopes", but losing to the Redskins just shows they are capable of losing to any team left on the schedule. Detroit could put 50 points on the board. That's the game that probably determines the 2nd WC.
  8. Just came to post this as well. It will be interesting to hear his reasons. Probably related to the fact that he is 68 years old.
  9. Away, you keep forgetting to say away.(ryno when he called his neighbors to check on his family)
  10. I don't know why they don't do it more often, at least on sweeps and things where they're going to be forced out for 5 yard losses (not while they're being dragged down) And NW looks broken. You'd get illegal man downfield almost every time.
  11. There's around 20 pitchers total in baseball that you can feel confident will start 20+ with an era around 3.00. And Shark isn't even one of them Define "around"
  12. Will Leitch is the absolute worst.
  13. This is not meant as an "i told you so" or something by any means (and this excerpt certainly wouldn't qualify as such)...just an example of what my line of (very uninformed) thinking was. http://www.bleachernation.com/2013/10/18/obsessive-wrigley-renovation-watch-night-game-change-outfield-bump-out-signage-battle/ http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/politics/clout/chi-emanuel-proposes-more-changes-to-wrigley-field-plan-20131016,0,3941490.story http://www.bleachernation.com/2013/10/03/obsessive-wrigley-renovation-watch-three-lingering-issues-reportedly-resolved/ All that indicates is that the mayor wants to fast track the actual paperwork required with the city to start a construction project, it doesn't tell us anything about the rooftops. Red tape is a bureaucracy thing, not a civil litigation issue.
  14. To be fair, that could be a really long rationally constructed column that touches on the varying reasons why not.
  15. So are you trying to make a joke about the missing A in BBIP, which I assume is BABIP, which does include the word average? Or is that just batted balls in play? I've never heard of the distance stat either, how is that measured? Would a liner caught by a 1B be measured at 90 ft with a shallow fly be measured where it's caught?
  16. Have you heard of the New England area? Chicagoland is large, which means the actual number will be higher than most. But this stuff is universal.
  17. I personally don't see how. it makes the rooftop owners look bad. I don't live in Chicago but its hard for me to understand why anyone would be mad at the Ricketts family when they are fully funding this thing. Especially since the Whitesox are playing in a fully public funded stadium. I sure don't blame them for not starting construction when the rooftops could sue and have anything they start halted. That would be a huge waste of money. A billion dollar organization run by people with all sorts of top notch education versus a couple bar owners and a local hack politician? All of this was known before the purchase went through. If you can't run your business because of potential fallout related to an agreement (which pales in comparison from a financial standpoint) your own business president structured then you are a complete mess.
  18. Neither do the NJ Nets.
  19. I would never define a sloppy game by just turnovers and dropped passes. That is putting all the slop on the skill position players that take the least amount of abuse on Sunday and therefore require the least amount of rest before the next game. That's just a silly way to look at it.
  20. Northern Indiana only producers studs! http://bleacherreport.com/articles/415803-the-20-biggest-illegitimate-fathers-in-sports/page/15 Found this from 2010. I had never heard about Marshall Faulk's brood. That list is pretty outdated. Well sure, that list is from 2010, which is like 5 gestational periods ago.
  21. oh man yes, I could see that.

  23. Well, it also helps that NYG and PIT both suck balls, which I didn't expect coming in.
  24. Wow, that's quite the optimistic view to take. Philly is 3-3. They are in a similar situation as the Bears with regards to dealing with a new offensive system, but coming from the standpoint of already being capable of playing offense. They could easily be favored against the Bears at home in late December, quite possibly with the division on the line. Washington is favored against the Bears this weekend. I see a path to 5 more losses if they don't beat Washington this week. They could lose both GB games, Washington, Philly and Dallas. If they aren't good enough to beat Washington, they may not be good enough to beat Dallas either. I expect 10-6 or better, but could see 9-7.
