  1. holy crap, a 5 on 3 and they just piss it away. Thanks Belgia
  2. bradley doing the rumblin' stumblin' bumblin' just like Boomer drew it up.
  3. by the way, F Duane Reade for only having Bud Light lime available for domestics. This is terrible.
  4. is that guy's nickname the cooz? it should be
  5. Took them quite a while to round him up, too. they don't actually do that down there, they just let them run themselves off
  6. Speaking of BJax, why does he get less playing time in the OF than Vitters? Is he really that much less of a "prospect" than Vitters at this point? I don't have the hitting #'s but when you see them, they are not pretty. Other than last year, BJax has out OPSed Vitters at every level. Actually, 2012 too, but not by much. Plus, he's a better defender than Vitters. They both suck but Jackson is a year older and doing a little worse this year. But it doesn't really matter. Because as I said, they both suck.
  7. fully clothed streaker on the pitch
  8. bad first couple minutes, pretty wide open since
  9. I think it's pretty clear that the NHL model is set-up in a way that benefits the second tier of free agents. The elites will probably never get what they "deserve" based solely on the "we need room under the cap" idea. They will not get the multiple they deserve over that type of player just because the teams that don't have elites feel the need to pay whatever is necessary to get whatever upgrade they can find.
  10. after he drowns He never saw it comin. 'cause his eyes don't work well.
  11. You think the guy calling out the rooftop owners is a tool? How so? Just general layweryness or what? He is described as a stadium financing consultant, odds of non-toolery are low.
  12. Maybe last, but by far the best last place team in the MLB. I would like to see San Diego or Arizona try to play close to .500 in the NL Central! It's the toughest neighborhood in town. Even teams like Toronto and SF would be battling for 2nd or 3rd place around here. As far as the draft situation goes, I don't give a rat's ass about it. You know how many #1 picks bust out, and how many 29th's become gold? It's a crap shoot. You do it with your farm system and key free agent acquisitions. And of course, NOT losing your blue chip players to same. A) Crap shoot is an overused term that doesn't really do justice to the situation. B) If you believe you do it from your farm system then you should give more than a rat's ass about the draft situation.
  13. Blackhawks resign Regin, who I thought was supposedly completely ignored once he got here and likely gone.
  14. Oh man, the Serena Williams video is kind of scary.
  15. yeah those were dark days. At the peak of BJax's prospect days, when he was our #1 prospect, where would he fit in our current top 10? A 21 year old CF that put up .316/.420/.517 in A+ and then .276/.366/.465 in AA? He's be pretty highly regarded even in the current system. Or to be more specific (like TT) somewhere in the 3-6 range...
  16. Chimichurri for the win.
  17. I like the goalie coming up the field, hockey should make goalies be the extra skater in those situations. ughhhh, diving Eurotrash
  18. holy cow so close
  19. gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
  20. sign that argentinean up for a place kicking gig, that shot over the goal would have been good from 75.
  21. https://twitter.com/robinwilliams/status/484034430067949568 Would have gone with Two Teddys One World Cup.
  22. Or the cubinny plan. (good job moving this post - I thought you were theorizing a reason for Fox Sports to get involved in the TV talk again)
  23. the first thing agents need to be doing when the Cubs come calling for one of their ho-hum pitchers is make sure all the other teams know the Cubs want to sign them. The Cubs are probably going to demand secrecy about their presence in negotiations, although it's not like they haven't been linked to these names before signing them.
