  1. Hudson County, NJ needs a team.
  2. MUUUURDERRRRR Holy moley, he actually said that. What he meant was that when there is a body, they cover it with a sheet while the CSI people take over. When they don't die, there is no need to cover the body.
  3. Is Grizzo Asian?
  4. why are all the people behind home plate standing but just chilling out?
  5. Even if you aren't a big fan of him, he's #2(!!) on our depth chart right now. But projection wise he's really just Dubrount/Strailey. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk When you have a collection of non-amazing guys, the guy who has actually had the results get to stand at the front of the line.
  6. Brandon Marshall picked a great time to have his meltdown press conference.
  7. He looked like he wanted to clock her.
  8. Rog despises these people asking questions
  9. AWESOME PROTESTOR BEGGING NOT TO BE TAKEN TO THE ELEVATOR
  10. PFTCommenter ‏@PFTCommenter · 9m Roger- PFT Comenter here from http://strongtakes.com ,, has the NFL considered extra punishment 4 players found guilty of updog?
  11. http://www.nj.com/rutgersfootball/index.ssf/2014/09/rutgers_athletic_director_julie_hermann_made_crude_sandusky_remark_in_staff_meeting_sources_said.html#incart_m-rpt-1 The pettiness of the people in the Rutgers AD office is impressive. Rutgers apologized to PSU for their student's Sandusky related comments, and somebody else ratted out the AD for once making a sarcastic comment about Sandusky in a meeting. I doubt there is an office in America that has not had a sarcastic Sandusky comment over the past few years.
  12. I see both sides of this. Hester was frequently lined up wrong, or ran bad routes. And he was the #1 receiver. The coaches utterly failed at using Hester, and I could see how that would be upsetting to Jay. What are both sides? Hester is just wrong; of course anyone would have wanted him to be a successful receiver; the only time it got to Cutler "not wanting him" was when EVERYONE didn't "want him" as one because it was painfully obvious that he was horrible at it and it couldn't work. Yeah, I had the same question about two sides.
  13. Hester comparing himself to a walk-on is ridiculous.
  14. http://deadspin.com/nfl-loses-corporate-partner-for-breast-cancer-awareness-1636835000
  15. Valaika can't handle 1B and now he's playing SS?
  16. Can't speak to the others, but South Bend definitely wanted the Cubs. They wanted a more local MLB affiliate than Arizona and from what I understand the Cubs were the only MLB team in the Midwest that was available. also, correct me if I'm wrong, but there has been quite a bit of upheaval in both AZ and SD front offices, which may have soured their business relationship and/or cause them to fear about the quality of young player they could expect to see coming through town over the next 2-3 years. Texas is a less obvious situation, but their owner is the father of a Cubs employee and the Cubs are a top 5 brand in MLB with commitment to quality minor league players.
  17. The only fun time to bet on baseball is to bet on the big underdog.
  18. Cole Hamels or Jason Hammel? The Cubs should be looking for better pitchers than Jason Hammel this offseason.
  19. pftcommenter seal of approval
  20. Yeah I saw one game in the 2 years they were here and that was because my company rented out a box. I like following the box scores and reading about them but I'm not overly enticed to go out and see them play. Now imagine how much interest you will show when the big league club is worth paying attention to.
  21. I wouldn't say nobody thought anything negatively about him. But he was receiving widespread support by Chicago media with respect to how he has handled the bipolar issue.
  22. Yep...the people losing their crap on twitter are almost exclusively people on The Score and The Game. ESPN1000, less so...cuz he's got a show on there. I'm really confused. Other than showing a letter that said he never hit the girlfriend and that was he being offered claim settlement, what exactly did he say that was unknown to the public? What is causing the uprise? It kind of comes off as, or can be interpreted as, a battered woman being forced to say she was never hit in an effort to support her man's case with regards to punishment/fines at work, ala the Ray Rice press conference.
  23. You say that as if Chicago is some sort of bastion of health food.
