Why are you surprised? The oddest thing would be if there were not yet any charges yet Kane stayed in seclusion. It's not like this guy is reporting that Kane will be there, but rather he was pointing out how unlikely it would be for him to just be a no show without any logistical reasons to be missing. If there were charges to come, the NHL and the Blackhawks would look real foolish. For allowing him to show up to practice despite an ongoing investigation? Sure some will take issue with that, but it's not actually foolish to allow a guy that is under contract to show up to practice.
