  1. Is this ole miss bama ref an FAS baby?
  2. I'm fairly certain it has not happened yet.
  3. Unfortunately, I don't feel safe with any of those guys on the mound in the playoffs. We aren't gonna win anything until we have an absolute STOPPER down there that we can call on. Here's your stopper http://www.drinkstuff.com/productimg/34553.jpg
  4. lance lynn and starlin castro are both still trending
  5. I said I was glad he did good things and said it was cool that he got a curtain call *shrug* Not sure why people are giving you a hard time. It's not like you are cheering against him and hope he does bad while on the Cubs. I happen to agree with what you are saying about Starlin. Starlin is a god damn treasure, no self respecting Cubs fan should dislike him.
  6. isn't that the first? Here is the second: http://m.mlb.com/tv/v487265583 http://media.giphy.com/media/TlK63EEhRBtjSXvzoFW/giphy.gif
  7. can't believe all the people that think it sucks that the Cubs are likely to be playing an awesomely awesome incredibly meaningful baseball game in October.
  8. and absolutely lost it on the ump what was that all about?
  9. There were people criticizing Chris Kuc for not listening to directions about "only hockey questions" yesterday. People have always and will always "support their boys" in these situations.
  10. 1200 OPS the past 7 days 945 OPS the last 14 days
  11. He has missed multiple games with a hangover.
  12. http://mlb.nbcsports.com/2015/09/18/brewers-tell-matt-garza-to-stay-on-paternity-leave/ Eh, it's also that they aren't playing for anything at all, so why not let the guy have some extra time with his wife and newborn? I'm not saying him and the Brewers are a great fit, but I think this is reading into things a bit much. No it's not. You don't just let a guy leave for 2.5 weeks because you aren't playing for anything. That's a meaningfully weird situation.
  13. Wasn't anticipating it? He's played 125ish games in the majors this year. One would think he'd seen a take out slide or three before last night The majority of his playing time this year has been as a 3B. He's only played 55 games at SS this year, sporadically. And you don't just learn to hop out of the way of a take out slide by seeing a couple of them. It's an instinctive play you learn to make over time.
  14. couple reports that seabrook has an extension coming
  15. Do they think treating him like a 5 year old child will shame him into better behavior? Dan Bernstein always has to have a guy on the inside who gives him the straight dope. It makes no sense to force him to face the media as some sort of punishment. The Blackhawks organization probably took the biggest hit with that PC. They had it because there was really no way to not have one.
  16. Completely agree. Baseball players don't know how to do physical. Let them try to hit dongs and leave it at that. The legal takeout slide is a dumb thing.
  17. Hopefully it ends with retirement Retirement of your cardinals, in order.
