You are obsessed about jay needing to pick up on guys who whiff on a block No, i love Jay. But that was a cornerback, he's not assigned to anyone. There were three defensive players out there and two blockers. You are dead wrong. The blocking tight end chose not to block. That's in paulsen, and nothing cutler could do. -

Watching 9 year olds play tackle football (dumb), team makes a stop on first drive, scored TD on 2nd play, converts 2pt, recovers onside kick and scores 2 plays later. This is so dumb.

I had a draft hitters early ignore high end arms and load up on quantity discussion with a couple mets fans 2-3 year ago and they've delighted in teasing that I think pitching doesn't matter. I take no pleasure from the mets plight now, none whatsoever.

You guys had that when you were kids? I've never gotten a participation trophy/ribbon/etc except for little grid iron football (5th/6th grade) back when I was in elementary school and even junior high. We didn't have those in baseball or basketball. so you didn't have those except when you did, at ten years old. I got some sort of participation thing in instructional baseball, at 6 or 7. That was the 80's. Every parent of young kids now got those things when they were younger but play the trump supporter now and cry for when things were better.

holy crap that reminds me, did everybody else know this quote was on the wire? Was what's her name playing us? In the greek diner there is a sign between the main booth used by actors and the bartender/owner guy on the coke machine and it basically has that quote. I was cracking up when I saw it. http://i52.tinypic.com/11hc4ew.jpg The actual quote is "It's nice to be important but it's far more important (to be nice)" with the last part covered by plastic cups in one clear shot I saw.

I've been saying that for a couple years now. But the guy took a month off and now hasn't hit for a month since coming back. I'd try and get him more playing time this week to see if he can get it together but I'm not sure he can hit anymore. It's not an attitude thing but taking a month off to hang at the jersey shore hasn't helped and could have had a real negative effect.

Buffalo fired their OC after putting up a good amount of points against Jets? That's questionable. You have to wonder if this may finally be the end of the Ryan boys, who have each been terrible for a very long time.

its one game of jv Probably more like 3 or 4, but let's not pretend our JV lineup isn't still better than most of the teams we're playing from here on out I doubt there will be many more full jv lineup days. Individuals will get days off, but there will not be a lot of days where Russell, Bryant, Rizzo, Fowler and Zobrist all sit.
